We had a great time on this trip. We ate at the restaurant recommended by our guide and the chicken tagine and Moroccan soup were very tasty. Lots of great handi-craft shops. The town is beautiful and all the Instagram spots covered, lots of interests history too.

I signed up for the tour just 2 days in advance and to be honest, was very apprehensive if there would be issues but there were none. The day before, we were advised that our driver will be Ayoub and he will arrive at 8:45am. The pick up spot was from our airbnb in Tangier. On the day of the tour, Ayoub arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time and informed us of his arrival via Whatsapp. He was extremely courteous and professional. He told us that he is here but we take our time and dont need to feel rushed. We were the first to be picked up, there were 16 people who signed up for that day and he then picked up others on the way. We were all given a water bottle and there was free wifi available in the 18 or 20 seater van/bus. The vehicle had AC so that made the journey really comfortable. Along the way we stopped at one spot for 15 mins. That spot had good scenery, washroom facilities, restaurant etc. This spot was about midway point in the journey on the Riff mountains. The next stop was Chefchaouen. We arrived here at around noon. Here Ayoub introduced us to Najeeb, a local tour guide. Najeeb spoke very fluent English. He was not only able to converse comfortably in English but also able to crack jokes. Najeeb gave a very detailed tour of Chefchaouen. He told us that we will be at Chefchaouen for about 4 hours. The first 2 hours were for a detailed tour in which he will show us a public bakery, a religious school, a public hamam, and other main attractions. The walking tour was at a slow pace and took about 2 hours. There was plenty of time allocated to take pictures. The walking tour ended at a public square which was surrounded by restaurants. We had 2 hour to get some food and then another hour to do some shopping. before heading back from Chefchaouen at around 4 pm. Ayoub then drove us back. This time as well , mid way into the journey, he sopped at a restaurant for about 10 mins The place was clean and we had time to have a coffee and use the facilities. The next stop was for a panoramic view of Tangier's skylne. This was along the sea and then we were each dropped off. The drop off points were the same as the pick up point however some people chose a different location in Tangier as the drop off point. We returned at aound 7:30 pm It was a really fun and exciting day. I am so glad that we signed up for this

Had an amazing tour from Tangier to Chefchaouen with Najib as my guide! He was super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole trip fun and easy. Najib shared great stories, local history, and hidden gems along the way that made me appreciate Morocco even more. He made sure everything went smoothly, from the drive to the photo stops, and even helped with the best local food spots. If you’re planning a trip to Chefchaouen, I highly recommend asking for Najib you’ll have an unforgettable experience!

This was an excellent day trip. The comfortable van picked us up at our Riad. On the way we stopped for a toilet break and at a scenic overlook. In Chefchauen, a local guide gave us a great tour. Then we had free time to shop and eat lunch. We got back to Tangier in time to stop to watch the sunset over the sea. Chefchauen is a beautiful city. This was an excellent tour.

Our driver and guide, Zach, was the absolute best we could ask for. He was very friendly, charming but also was a very safe and skilled driver. He was very knowledgeable of the region and its history. He made sure that we were all taken care of throughout the whole experience - all with a smile on his face and a friendly vibe. On top of that, my partner and I had accidentally left a bag in the trunk of the van containing all the gifts we had purchased in the blue city for our family. Not only did Zach respond late in the night when we realized our mistake but he went out of his way to call others in the area to try and help us. He ended up bringing it back to us near our Riad in the Medina first thing the next morning and although we had to miss our ferry back to Spain, his level of care and concern was above and beyond. Couldn't ask for a better experience for our first time in Morocco and he helped make it a very positive memory for years to come.
