The Marshan Palace is a palace of the King of Morocco in the Marshan neighborhood of Tangier, Morocco. Initially known in the early 1950s as the seat of the Legislative Assembly of the Tangier International Zone.

5.00We booked a city tour in Tanger. We were lucky to have Hamza as our guide. He was easy to get in touch with prior to our tour and answered all of my questions. We visited so many sites and he was knowledgeable explaining to us the history and cultural significance of the various locations. He made sure we saw everything we wanted to see and took us to shops fitting our interest. The lunch location he selected was also great with live music and great food. Hamza is a fun, kind, skilled guide. He took amazing photos for us which was an extra perk. Give him more tours! Highly recommend will recommend to friends and tell them to ask for Hamza.

5.00We spent most of the day on a private tour with an excellent tour guide, Hamza. The tour took us driving all over Tangier, allowing us to see much of Tangier, and certainly many neighborhoods and areas we never would have found on our own. The tour also hit the mandatory tourist stops, including a camel ride on the beach which was exhilarating. My camel, Nadia, was the cutest camel on the beach. In the last part of the tour, Hamza took us walking through the Kasbah castle area and the Medina markets, using his local knowledge to make the tour truly memorable!

5.00Our trip was fantastic! Our guide Coca-cola (Hassan) was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He met us at our Riad and walked us to the car and on our drive tour he gave us fascinating history facts about the city. His wealth of knowledge was incredible as well as the pace of the tour. We got to do so much, the camel ride was fantastic with beautiful views of the beach. The Hercules cave was also incredible. When you are with Coca-Cola, you feel like you have a backstage pass to everything. We got to cut the line and he knew all the best places to take photos. You won’t find them without him! He also took us to an amazing market and helped us learn how to haggle and the culture of shopping in Tangier. He has a true love for the city and country which was evident in our conversations. Wrapping up the tour with the cooking class was amazing and some of the best food we’ve ever had! 10/10 would recommend, ask for Coca-Cola (Hassan) the best guide in Tangier!

5.00We were thrilled with our private tour of this beautiful port. We hit all of the highlights, including a terrific in-depth tour of the Medina and the Kasbah. We were lucky enough to be able to see the old synagogue…it was so moving. We also had a terrific, traditional breakfast with our gracious host. We enjoyed every minute. Don’t hesitate to book this tour, especially if you are coming in on a cruise ship.

5.00It covered everything and more. Our guide was amazing. We got to do ALL the points listed in the write up and many additional places, views, sights. Camel riding was a hoot. The Hercules Cave was unexpectedly amazing. Visit to oldest Synagogue was a special addition. Although I did most in my rolling walker, I saw nearly everything. Our guide and many residents helped with some stairs. Our daughter handled most of the pushing. THIS IS A REAL REVIEW. WE ARE SO GLAD TO ONCE BE SERVED BY VIATOR. 5.00Hamza was the best tour guide we could have ever asked for!! He went out of his way to make sure that we enjoyed our time in Morocco. We ended up extending our tour to a second day. We decided to visit the Blue City, as we were having so much fun and learning so much about the culture and beauty of Tangier. Highly recommend!!!

We all enjoyed our full day touring Tangier and felt that each person received attention to their needs as we exited and entered the vehicle and as we rode camels. Ali is a Tangier native who has built relationships along the route and who takes great pride in his work and Tangier.
