Lake Manyara National Park
After a nice breakfast in the Lodge, our drivers will pick you up at 8:30 - 9:00 am with the picnic lunch heading directly to Manyara National Park for an extended game drive. Lake Manyara National Park is known for the flamingos that inhabit the lake. During the wet season they inhabit the edges of the lake in flocks of thousands but they are not so present during the dry season. Leopards, East African lions, cheetahs, elephants, blue monkeys, dik-dik, gazelles, hippopotamus, Masai giraffe, impala, zebras and many more wild animals inhabit this park and many can be seen throughout the year. There is a hippo pond at one end of the park where visitors can get out of their cars and observe from a safe distance. The leopards and lions are both known to lounge in the trees while not hunting for prey.

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After an early breakfast of coffee, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. Later on, will follow the transfer back to Arusha city for drop off in your hotel

This was a FANTASTIC safari with a FANTASTIC guide!!! Jared was the absolute best! He definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. So attentive and helpful. We saw the Big Five! We saw two leopards together… very unusual! We saw a pride of lions eating a zebra. We got close to many animals! This was an amazing trip from start to finish! We did the camping accommodation. It was comfortable and the food was really good. James and his trainee at Twiga camp were so sweet and welcoming. They made a wonderful variety of local foods. David was our guide for the last day at Lake Manyara. He was nice and attentive. We had a great last day to wrap up the 5 day trip. I cannot recommend this company enough!!!! I was in contact with them in the planning stages and they were so helpful and patient with all of my questions! Couldn’t imagine choosing a different company! Jared we already miss you and the rest of our safari crew!

My girlfriend and I had an incredible five-day safari experience, and we truly couldn’t have asked for anything better. From the very beginning we felt completely safe, well taken care of, and confident that everything was perfectly organized. The itinerary was well planned, complete, and allowed us to fully enjoy every moment of the safari. A special thank you goes to Daniel , who welcomed us right from the hotel and gave us a clear and helpful briefing about the entire safari and how everything would be organized. From the start, he made us feel comfortable and excited about the adventure ahead. Our driver and guide, Luther, was absolutely outstanding. He is a person with great knowledge, extremely professional, always available, and always with a warm smile. His passion and experience made every day even more interesting and enjoyable. And above all, a huge hug and compliments to Chef Abdul. He is a wonderful person and an amazing chef. The food was always fresh, delicious, and honestly even better than what we saw other groups having. Every meal felt special and prepared with care. This safari was not just a trip, but a truly memorable experience. We felt safe, relaxed, and amazed every single day. Everything was good, well organized, and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this experience to everyone. You will not be disappointed!

A wonderful 5-day experience in the Tanzanian parks. Everything was organized well. The campsites were nestled in nature, very nice and welcoming. Charly is an excellent driver who always made us feel safe and showed us the very best of the local wildlife. Our chef, Tito, cooks very well and delighted us with every single meal. If you are planning a safari in Tanzania, don’t hesitate to book with them!

A 5-day shared safari tour with camping formula. Everything fantastic from the organization, to the driver (Charles) and the food. Obviously there were animals and lush flora. We were lucky enough to see all the big guys where. Recommended tour operator

Wonderful Experience! Knowledgeable guides. Fantastic at respecting nature, yet giving you the best flavor of Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Manyara! Passion for their job and nature, which translates in a GREAT experience. You feel safe sleeping in camps, accommodating your EXTRA wishes (i.e Front row tent to try to get front row view to nocturnal animals wondering thru the camp). Food was just delicious and high variety for a vegetarian like me! Pius is an incredible chef! It’s low season, thus 3 day, 4 day and 5 day camping safari were combined, which meant different route as originally planned. Yet, the most important is that we got to see all animals, just the leopard was shy & did not get to see all BIG five. I guess I need to return soon!

Suricata Safaris was an excellent choice for us: the organization and logistics was completely problem-free, all those who supported us with their service from the two guides/drivers Charles and Sawadi to the chef James super helpful, friendly and competent. The daily selected destinations left absolutely nothing to be desired by the wildlife or the Scienery ... all wittily great, thank you !

Nice experience. Everything was well arranged and Melita was a super nice guide. He felt good when he could keep going and when he needed to take a little longer. We had 2 flat tires but we had fixed them again. Camping is one thing where you have to check carefully if it is something that suits you. One of the pitches was very hot and noisy at night the other 2 nights were nice and fun challenging. The food is super lunch and dinner can sometimes have some of the same things but generally still different and always full of flavor. The power in our jeep didn't work quite right so we couldn't charge anything while driving but at almost all camping spots there was power. Practically all the trips you can do here are alike so you better get your money's worth and go with them.
