What To Expect
Serengeti National Park
Arrival at Launch Site at around 5:45 AM. Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and light refreshments are served as the balloons are prepared for takeoff. Pilot Briefing: The pilots warmly greet you and provide a pre-flight safety briefing, explaining the flight experience and safety positions for takeoff and landing. Balloon Inflation & Pre-Flight Photos: Watch the balloon come to life as it’s inflated for the flight. Take pre-flight photos with the balloon and pilot before boarding. Takeoff at Sunrise: The adventure begins as the balloon gently takes off at sunrise, offering panoramic views of the Serengeti’s endless plains bathed in golden morning light.
Seronera
Scenic Balloon Safari over the Serengeti for 1 hour. Spot incredible wildlife like elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and many more. The pilot also shares insights into the Serengeti ecosystem, ensuring you don’t miss a thing. Enjoy your Safari with a coffee in the sky, capture unforgettable photos of the landscape and wildlife below, and much more. After approximately 1 hour of flying, the balloon descends for a smooth landing somewhere in Serengeti. Celebrate your successful flight with a champagne toast, a tradition dating back to the first hot air balloon flight.

5.00We had a wonderful time with the Safari in the sky …balloon Safaris…miracle experience. On December 3, 2025 we had the pleasure of flying over Tarangire national Park with pilot Danford. He’s probably one of the best balloon pilots because he has an amazing mix of knowledge about the surrounding areas as and what as well as the animals and and the trees on the ground, he explained it in a very interesting way while he’s simultaneously flying a balloon in the air, smoothly and gracefully, and explaining the nature. We were very lucky to see lions, elephants, giraffes, and several other animals. It was really thrilling to see them from above. Because there was some civil unrest at the time in Tanzania. We had a private session because we were the only two people in the basket for the balloon ride so we got extra attention… but I think it would’ve been super fun to have a lot more people as well (more people to spot animals) although Pilot Danford was really good at spotting animals that we would’ve never seen. But to be honest, it was a very huge team effort. There were many organizing the balloons and driving the vehicles and making sure the basket was probably set. They made sure the safety was up to standard and they even provided us a breakfast at the end of it!!! So we had pastries, eggs, hot dishes, like potatoes, and vegetables as well as the beverage … so delicious! Miracle also had a super clean restroom with Wi-Fi in the area that we were eating….. so it was really top of the line. It was kind of close to my husband‘s birthday so they even brought him out a cake and sang the Jambo song as well as happy birthday so the all-around experience was super high class…..super luxury. I forgot to say they even gave us coffee, tea and little desserts that were so delicious before our ride. They made sure we understood everything and even gave us champagne to toast a successful ride at the end. 10 stars all the way it was a very high class production!!!

5.00The most peaceful and beautiful way to experience the plains of Ndutu. Zenden was an excellent driver and guide in the sky, ensuring we felt comfortable at every step as first time flyers, and pointing out areas of interest and animals as we glided over. The whole team made the morning so special from start to finish, from a coffee in the sky overlooking giraffes and cheetahs, to a celebratory sparkling toast after we landed amongst wildebeest and zebra, and finally the most delicious and generous breakfast spread watching an elephant pass by. I cannot recommend this more highly.

5.00Even in dry season the experience is incredible. Everything was perfectly organised. They come and pick you up (very very early ;-) and from then on your only job is to have fun and enjoy the beatiful scenery. Nicola was incredible spotting animals. Breakfast after the flight was also a very nice moment to share with other people. 10 out of 10!

5.00What an unforgettable experience - thanks to our wonderful captain, Nicola, who has a great personality and has the eye of an eagle, spotting game from far away. We were picked up by a designated driver in the early morning hours (~4am) at our camp and after about and hour drive, were greeted by Miracle's friendly staff with a fresh brewed coffee at the launch site. The instruction procedure was swift and clear and then we were ready to go. The crowd size was ok (~15 people per balloon). Despite the crowd size, the atmosphere between guests in our balloon was friendly and nobody stood in each other's way, so we had unobstructed 360 degree views throughout the 1 hour 15 minute flight. The landing was super smooth, I expected nothing else from a pro like Nicola, and we finished our unforgettable experience with a glass of champagne at the landing site before we headed for a tasty, well-deserved breakfast in the bush, all at the courtesy of Miracle's professional, helpful and very friendly staff. All in all, despite the relatively high cost, it's an experience that was worth it. Highly recommendable for couples or families who want to experience the Serengeti from a very different point of view.

5.00It was a delightful experience from start to finish! We were picked up by Samwel when it was still dark out. In the way to the balloon we saw a caracal, genet and civet cat (Samwel) spotted all of them for us!). When we got to the balloon, the team was professional and fun. The balloon ride itself was amazing. Seeing the Serengeti from above offered an entirely different experience and adventure. Our pilot was safety oriented as well as fun and lighthearted. We got great pictures in the air. On the way back from the balloon ride we were able to get up close to elephants and a cheetah with cubs. The breakfast at the end was delicious! All the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. What a great team of people to spend a magical day with!
