It was a wonderful experience. Maria and her family welcomed me very warmly. We gathered vegetables and fresh eggs and prepared six simple traditional dishes. Maria explained and demonstrated the cooking principles in detail and clearly. I can recreate all the dishes at home. Then we had lunch together. Greek cuisine and ingredients are fresh and healthy, seasoned with home care and love. I would be happy to return to Maria for more Greek master classes.

Maria, her family, and farm are all amazing. I did this class by myself as a way to spend my birthday filled with good food- and glad I did. Maria taught some very traditional recipes that can easily be recreated at home. In addition, they offer you a little history into the town the farm is located in- which is a nice bonus. Highly recommend for solo travelers or groups.

This was the warmest most delightful way to spend my birthday. The Agni family embodies the kindness, welcoming hospitality and fun of Greeks. Everyone, including Hermes their lovely horse were so involved and nice. Picking your own fresh products from the farm was such a refreshing way to live this experience. The cooking was intense but we learn so so much, you get at least 5 meals in one. The grand finale was a beautiful family dinner in their terrace. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Do you want to experience the real Greece? This is it with lots of joy, laughter, passion, and great food! We so enjoyed meeting and being welcomed by Maria, Aggelos, Christina, Constantino, and Hermes, the family horse. Maria did a magnificent job of sharing and showing us her family's favorite dishes. Everything was fresh, mostly from their own garden. The homemade tomato sauce and sheep's milk feta were outstanding. We chopped, stirred, stuffed peppers, gathered fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs, and herbs. The very best part was Maria's love and passion. Her joy filled the kitchen. Her family lives in a blessed home! BOOK NOW for an unforgettable experience of the real taste of Greece!

This experience was phenomenal. Maria has such a beautiful family that cares about you and especially about food!! They have animals and fresh produce that are cute and delicious. I would do anything to come back to Greece for 100 more classes. Maria also does nails and she makes large batches of cheese, tomato sauce, natural skin care, and more! It was an incredible day and I had so much fun cooking with her and her family. The food was delicious, I can’t wait to use what I’ve learned at home. Don’t think twice about booking this experience it’s unforgettable!! Thank you agnifarm I LOVE YOU!!

Today I had the absolute pleasure of doing a cooking class at Agni farm with Maria and her family. What a special experience!! The day started with Maria and her husband picking me up at my hotel - they were warm and friendly and immediately made me feel comfortable. We chatted easily during the car ride and they pointed out many landmarks - before I knew it we were at the farm! There, I was welcomed by their children and pets (including a very sociable horse!). We all sat down to have tea before exploring the farm together. During the tour, I had the opportunity to gather eggs as well as the vegetables needed for the meal. Maria explained I would be learning to cook some of her family’s favourite dishes. She was such a positive and encouraging teacher - she walked me through cooking seven (!!) different dishes including giouvetsi with veal, traditional gemista, tzatziki and horiatiki - such a treat! The smells in the kitchen were fantastic and I even got to sample various delicious homemade items like Maria’s specialty cheese while we waited for some of the dishes to finish cooking. I was amazed by how easily and quickly everything came together. The finished meal was excellent - I especially enjoyed the fresh salad, the tenderness of the cooked veal, and the flavours of the stuffed peppers and tomatoes from the gemista - yum!!! Dessert was semolina halva which I had never tried before - so tasty!! I left the farm feeling satiated by not only good food but good company!! I am excited to try these new recipes with my own family when I get back home to Canada - thank you Agni farm!!!

The hospitality we experienced on this activity was the high point of our trip to Greece. My wife and I and our grown son visited Agni Farm for the midday (10-3) session. We were picked up in Thessaloniki and driven to the farm in Langadas where Maria and her family welcomed us into their home and lives for the day. Joined by the dogs and Hermes, their pet horse, we got to know each other over Greek coffee seated at a lovely garden table. A tour of the farm garden and livestock areas included newborn lambs, collecting eggs from the henhouse, and picking fresh tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, lettuce and rocket arugula for use in the meal. We then toured the lovely house, seeing the areas in which Maria processed and preserved many of the vegetables and fruits from the farm, as well as her home made cosmetic and other health products. We sampled some of the preserves, as well as olive oil from their groves, award wining feta cheese from their sheep’s milk, and herb infused liquors. Under Maria’s guidance we then prepared multiple traditional Greek dishes for our meal including giouvetsi with veal, traditional gemista, eggs cooked in Maria’s home canned sauce, Horiatki, Tzatziki, and salad if the fresh greens. Dessert was a sweet semolina halva. Shared with Maria, her husband Aggelos and their two delightful children, the meal was full of lively conversation, and a wonderful experience. We came as strangers and left as friends! Too soon, it seemed, it was time to go and we were ferried back to Thessaloniki. We hope to keep in touch with them, and the next time we come to Greece we will have to do Maria’s part two: traditional baking!

We were very impressed with our stay at Maria and Angelos' farm! The hosts were kind and charming, the house was cozy, the garden is well-kept, and there were wonderful pets, including a horse named Hermes! We happily prepared a six-course meal under Maria's guidance, and then we enjoyed a friendly and cheerful lunch time at the outdoor table together. Time flew by! We highly recommend this interesting farm tour! The most pleasant memories will last a long time!

This is much more than a cooking class. A great experience and I would without hesitation recommend this to anyone who would like to learn more about Greek culture and family life in a rural setting. The host's family were brilliant and very welcoming, and we got to appreciate some very good food too!
