It was a well organized excursion. Catherine and Alex are two caring, thoughtful people who made the journey very pleasant and meaningful. The Costa Ricans are nice people in general, but our guide and driver were perfect.

What a great tour so fun. Mario was our fabulous driver and our guide was Rich who was one of the best tour guides I’ve had anywhere. She was so friendly bubbly and knowledgeable. We stopped at a shop that gave us samples of plantains coffee and fresh fruit then off to the rain forest/beach. Saw sloths and snakes giant spiders turtles iguanas and lots of different flowers. Walked out to the ocean which was so pretty. Then we had time for a local beer and some gelato. Passed the banana plants and then stopped in to learn about how they grow and more sloths !!! Grabbed a delicious meat pie and off to move our boat ride. We got another sample of frag fruit and a water and took a slow cruise down a canal to see lots of birds and iguanas and even a cayman. Truly got a great feel for Costa Rica and it’s very friendly people and it’s amazing country! Rice and Beans !!!

We had an amazing day on this excursion. Our guides were very informative and helpful with taking pics of the animals. We saw Slots (also 1 was eating), birds, bats, monkeys and venomous snake. Rich asked us what we would like to see and do on this excursion. She made sure we saw all the animals that everyone wanted to see. Also, she was very informative about the plant life and what purposes these plants served. Never did we feel rushed and was a very relaxed environment. I would do this excursion again.

What a wonderful experience. Even tho it rained most of the day, we still saw the canals and the park. The boats were covered so that helped a lot. We saw a lot of sloths in the park which was an incredible experience. Our guide Pablo was the absolute best!! His personality, excitement and adventurous nature made the trip more than I could have expected.

I liked the boat ride. I did not like the shopping. I thought we would be going to a shopping center, not just one store. The park was not not what we expected. I thought we would see some birds eat. We did see a snake. And heard alot about native plants. The driver and the hostess was very nice. My wife had a hard time getting on the bus and they was very helpful and the hostess even took photos for her.

Our Guide Rich and our driver Mario ,showed us the highlights of the area including wildlife in the cahita national park , and the canals. The tour was comfortable and informative, with A/C and wifi on the bus. Tour included modest amounts of walking, however this may not be suitable for people with mobility difficulties. The stops at souvenir shops were not that useful as the prices were much higher than at the port shops. Fruit and water was provided at one of the stops ,which was welcomed as the tour is a long tour. Optional lunch was offered at the end of the tour. It was an enjoyable full day tour with our warm and helpful guide Rich.
