Experience a relaxing tour in Puerto Limon around the city and take in the scenic view of the town. During your tour, you'll go on a Tortuguero canal boat ride, enjoy Playa Bonita's beach, stop beside a banana plantation, and taste local fruit at the Fruit Stand and visit the supermarket. This small-group excursion takes approximately 4 hours, during which you'll learn about the local culture and visit the best of Puerto Limon. What To Expect

Puerto Limon

Enjoy a brief city tour around Limon's town, where your guide will share some of the culture and history of this port. You will also visit a viewpoint, a great opportunity to take a panoramic picture of the town and the ship docks.

Learn more about tropical plants and their fruits. See the actual plants and trees, and also have some samples of these delicious fruits at a rustic fruit stand before heading on to Cahuita National Park. If you feel like shopping, you can also visit the contiguous souvenir shop.

Enjoyed this excursion. Our driver, Eric, was excellent at spotting animals and pulling over so that we could see them. Our tour guide, Larry, was funny and personable. He shifted our tour from a very crowded beach to a very nice local restaurant that had a great pool.

We had an absolute blast on this outing. Finding the tour group was easy and things remained great. Our guide and driver (Larry and Eric) were excellent. Eric showed mad skills with spotting wildlife and Larry was informative and humorous. We made several stops and never felt rushed. We had a small group, which we really enjoyed. Overall, a great experience.

Great value. Enjoyed the different stops - variety was good and felt we really got to see areas that represented the area and with more local perspective. Guide (Larry) was great! Knowledgeable regarding area, people, local plants and animals, and was funny and personable. Comfortable air conditioned small bus. Would highly recommend!

Traveling with my hubby and 11 year old son, this your was perfect. Larry was amazing!! He was so knowledgeable about Limon - the culture, people, government, local food and fruits, you name it! I felt totally immersed in the experience. The only confusing thing is the port time and the ship time were 2 hours different, which I didn't realize until we arrived. I didn't have access to email, but the vendor tried to contact me. However, we did not get left and we reassured that we were on time. Totally enjoyed and would recommend to anyone!

Great overview tour of Puerto Limon, Costa Rica. Our tour guide, Larry, was amazing. He was very informative, and clearly loved his country. The last stop of the tour was Playa Bonits, where many of us enjoyed lunch and a dance with Larry.
