Beautiful experience. We were lucky enough to travel only us in the clean and comfortable vehicle. Basically it was as if a private visit had been booked. We were accompanied by a driver (Mr. Rodolfo Walker) very good and friendly who explained many curiosities of the country. In the rainforest we were accompanied by a very good guide of the park

A huge thank you to our guide Esteban Herrera. Esteban is a 10 star guide. He provided us with so much information about Costa Rica and treated us like family. He went above and beyond to make sure we 200% enjoyed this tour. He made everything perfect!❤️. This is one of the best tours we have ever been on. The rainforest walk, the tram and the boat ride were great. We saw so many native animals. We would highly recommend this tour to others and when back in Costa Rica would do it again. If you want the best guide, ask for Esteban Herrera.

I took this tour while in port for the day. Ronald was fantastic. He was very professional and knowledgeable, kind and considerate. The bus ride was about 30 minutes to the state park. We stopped at a hotel and a bathroom was available to use. The bus was very nice with good A/C. The jungle hike was interesting. The bridges fun to cross. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any animals in the jungle because there were 2 cruise ships in port and a lot of people in the jungle. After the jungle we went back to the hotel. The staff offered cool, wet, peppermint scented washcloths that I very much appreciated. The hotel was nice and I would consider staying there. A small bowl of fruit and a glass of water was our snack. Then a quick bus ride to the river. The river boat ride was fascinating. The breeze and boat ride cooling. Ronald and our boat driver did everything they could to get us to see the birds and crocodiles. I was expecting lots and lots of crocodiles but we only saw two. They were huge though and very impressive. The tour would have been better if there weren’t so many people. But that is hardly our tour guide’s fault. He did everything he could to give us a great experience. I would definitely take another tour with Ronald.

long and slow with no excitement. this was a disappointing rainforest since there was no rain, were no birds or animals. we saw plants and insects. canals tour also boring with monkeys in thevtrees and 2 sloths. i think they cut our trip short as we were the first boat back to dock.

The rainforest was beautiful. We saw many poisonous frogs, snakes and ants. This part was worthwhile. The boat ride was not worth it. Our group was in a van and we pulled up to go on boat and they made us wait until a bus came. When the bus came they out all of those passengers in the boat first and had us sit in the very back. We were the last couple and sat right beside the stinky motor. We could hear nothing the tour guide was saying. Then it started raining and we got soaked from the side and the back. Not their fault it rained but not sure why bus passengers were loaded first. The boat ride was about 30-40 minutes because it rained too much. The 45 people on the boat was way too much. This tour was not worth the $350 we paid for the 2 of us.

Horrible. Picked up at port in a van, left a few minutes late, but after traveling 20-30 minutes in heavy traffic, turned around and went back to the port as they had left two people at the port . That was the first of many problems that day. Drove on a horrible bumpy road for miles to where we were supposed to have a moderate hike. Bad description as it was difficult with many rugged stairs and climbing. Hard to hold on while climbing due to fear of poisonous snakes, frogs and bugs sometimes spotted on the railings. Our guide was a nice young lady and that was the only nice thing. Not everyone tried the walk and waited for at the visitor center. Upon return, we reboarded van for another rough 30 minutes ride on the same road yo the boat area. We had to wait there forca bus that arrived, they got to board the boat first and my husband got stuck in the back with the gas motor fumes right in our faces. On the boat ride, it began to rain and where we were stuck in the back of the boat we got soaking wet from head to foot. No one seemed to care.. had another uncomfortable ride back to the port and the driver left us off in a huge puddle so my feet were wet also. It was the most uncomfortable trip I ever went on and I was sore all night. I would not recommend this trip to anyone and the driver and the post on the bus spoke poor English, and we’re not very good at making us feel comfortable. others on the trip felt the same way.

Ronald guide and Juan Carlos driver were awesome. Very knowledgeable and quick to point out sloths and many many other animals, stopping immediately to make sure we could all see. Juan Carlos even saw a local produce truck and jumped off to get us all fresh bananas! Great trip , would definitely book again!
