What To Expect
Grand Cayman
First we will leave the Marina and head out into the ocean on a 30 minute trip to our 1st stop the Coral Garden. we will gear up with a pair of goggles, fins, and a snorkel and jump on in the refreshing ocean to view the tropical fish and amazing Coral Gardens.
Stingray City
After boarding the boat we will head towards our next stop which is about 10 minutes away. Cayman's famous Stingray City is definitely something to check off your bucket list. Climb down onto the sandbar surrounded by dozens of beautiful and majestic stingrays.

5.00This was our second trip on the Buccaneer catamaran; we did the same excursion last year. It is worth paying a little extra to be in a smaller group on an open boat with a smooth ride. The crew is great and expert with the stingrays. We fed (once per person), took pictures and kissed them! He also put the (they grab a big one and hold onto it for everyone... the stingray doesn't seem to mind) stingray on stomachs and backs for pictures. This was my third time out to Stingray City so I spent more time looking in the water than listening, but he gave an informative talk on the stingrays too. I brought my own snorkeling gear for myself, but the equipment they had was good too. Snorkeling in the Coral Garden is nice. There aren't the fields of dead/bleached coral common elsewhere. Frankly I could do without Starfish Point and would rather double the snorkeling, but there were some nice starfish if you're into holding them and it makes for a nice ride back to the dock. They provided water and soda, though the soda options were weak (sketchy brand orange and grape soda) and no diet options. Meet up is a little stressful with tendering from a cruise ship. This time they were easy to find in the main tent. The meeting time is strict (and they wanted to leave 20 minutes earlier). Make sure you have cellphone service to text and secure and early tender ticket if you book an early tour!

1.00Rented a private catamaran (Buccaneer) for an afternoon and sunset experience for our family. Owner assured us of several stops which were to include 8 different aquatic adventures. See attached photo of our itinerary as they were only able to squeeze in three. We were first taken to a prearranged lunch at Rum Point which was to last 1 hour. 2 hours later the boat finally came back for us despite calling the owner multiple times and being assured he would get back to us, which he didn’t. The captain and mate were excellent and seemingly embarrassed by the scheduling that the owner had done which clearly forced them to juggle two charters at once. The owner later blamed his crew by the way. Upon our return we tried to have a rational conversation with the owner about making things right but the options offered did not work for our family as it was a group excursion at 9am, vastly different from a private charter, so we requested a refund of our deposit only. He became irate, got in my face and then stormed off to his vehicle like a child and drove off. As an aside, the vessel was a real beater, no netting up front to sit on and view the water below as you see on most catamaran tours, and not a single cushion to sit on. I would recommend the crew, but the owner needs to grow up and take responsibility when he does not deliver what’s promised. A total letdown and awful experience to have on vacation.

5.00This was a great experience. Acquarius Stingray city and snorkel tour was the best!! It was our first stingray tour and it did not disappoint. The crew was very friendly and professional. They made sure everyone got a kiss from the stingray and photos. I would absolutely book with them again.

5.00Being a born and raised Caymanian, I've been to Stingray City Sandbar, Snorkeling and Starfish point countless times with different companies, and I can say with absolute certainty that the tour with Acquarius Sea Tours on board of the Buccaneer, was excellent. The crew was polite, helpful and very professional. I went with some visiting friends from England, and everybody loved it! I highly recommend this company and this tour. - Gina

5.00This was one of the best excursions we have ever done. The staff on the boat was wonderful and the experience with the stingrays was incredible. The staff made sure we had a wonderful experience with the stingrays but also exercised caution. We never once felt scared. The sandbar and water was some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. 10 out of 10!

5.00Snorkeling for Conch? Be informed of Conch Season and whether you can bring up live conch. Check the weather and sea conditions. Ours were choppy with strong current. Snorkeling was difficult. Time snorkeling is only 15 minutes
