What To Expect
Your private guide will meet you at Kusadasi port or hotel with a sign written “ Your Name “ on it, at pre-arranged time. After greetings, drive to Ephesus in around 25 minutes.
Ancient City of Ephesus
After greeting, we will have 20 mins drive to Ephesus area. We will start visiting one of the main highlights in Turkey, Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of Ionian League (an ancient Greek district on the western coast of Asia Minor) is located near Izmir. As a port city it was a major departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor. Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them The State Agora, Odeon, Memnius Monument, the Temple of Domitian, , Polio Fountain, Curetes Street, The Trajan Fountain, The Baths of Scholastica, Hadrian Temple, Latrina, Celcus Library, the gate of Mihridates and Mazues, Commercial Agora and The Grand Theater are two of the most impressive buildings in Ephesus. Grand theatre was built in 3rd century B.C and it was later expanded to 24.000 spectators by the Romans in the 1st century A.D.

4.00Outstanding tour. Our guide Nejdet Kahraman made it a memorable day with his knowledge and hospitality. Could not fault anything from the air conditioned well appointed van to the unrushed and informative tour. Was like he was one of our group. Definitely the best way to tour. The lunch under shaded trees at the rug store was great as well. A truely lovely day

3.00The sights of Ephesus and the terrace houses are a wonder. To be able to walk the streets where Roman’s did more than two thousand years ago is something special The history of the area is brought to life before your eyes I do wish our tour included more stories and detailed description of the history. Of Ephesus. I felt rushed and as though we skipped parts of the site. The lunch stop was disappointing.

5.00Fusun was an excellent guide and ensured this visit to Ephesus was the highlight of our trip! Ephesus is an awesome sight, not to be missed. But Fusun went out of her way to find out what our particular interests were then specifically pointed out things pertaining to them. Kusadasi Tours and Fusun made this visit very special and the tour was worth every penny!

5.00Fusun was our guide, and Barrack was our driver. This was a tour for just my wife and me. Fusun was wonderful, met us near the ship pier, and provided a wealth of information from that point on. She has over 25 years of experience as a tour guide, and this was obvious throughout our tour of Ephesus and the surrounding area of Kusadesi. She always jumped in to ask us what else we wanted to see and had the driver take us to out-of-the-way places to see sights we were interested in. I would highly recommend this tour. We were on a Viking cruise and had the opportunity to do the free tour with Viking of Ephesus, which did not include the terrace house, which we did want to see. It was well worth it from our experience, after talking to others on the ship who had taken the Viking excursion, which had about 40 people with earbuds. We were delighted that we had decided on the private tour, and it was cheaper than the special terrace house tour that Viking offered. We felt we got much more for our money than what it would have cost with Viking, and it was a private car with a driver and a free lunch. Fusun was wonderful!!

5.00Excellent knowledgeable guide with great information. Terrace Homes definitely worth viewing. Very strenuous walking for people with mobility challenges. Lunch was delicious and delightful under the trees. The carpet presentation was low-key and appropriate to our interest. Lots of good information was given. We would recommend this tour.

5.00The tour had covered all entrance fee, really no hidden cost. Ephesus is a very historical place, Terrace house must go to see. Lunch was fantastic . The tour also brought you to see leather jackets show, carpet production. If you are not interested in those places, they will send you back to the ship port. No hard feeling.
