This was one of the best tours we’ve ever taken. The day started off with rain but we quickly forgot about the weather as we became immersed in the sites. Our tour guide Elif was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites and answered all of our questions. We enjoyed a delightful Turkish lunch followed by a tour of the local Turkish rug weaving school.

Tolga gave us an excellent private tour from Kusadasi cruise port, relating lots of historical information and relating it to the events recorded in the New Testament. The vehicle was very comfortable and, since he was not driving, Tolga was able to give us full attention en route. Ephesus was remarkable and we were able to understand much more than our fellow cruise passengers on the organised group tour. It was probably also cheaper and certainly much better value!

This tour was phenomenal. Our guide, Elif, was very knowledgeable and provided us with the historical parameters of each site. The city of Ephesus was a major port and the third largest city in the area. It is full of treasures. We highly recommend this tour and suggest you ask for Elif as you guide.

We really enjoyed our tour guide, Elif Serbester. She was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. There was so much to see and learn! Our lunch in a village was delicious and a nice variety. Our sweet tour guide even called ahead and had a birthday cake made for one of our tour members.

Our guide, Elif, was extremely knowledgeable and could not have given us a better tour. I am very happy we did this tour. She has studied Ephesus her entire life as she grew up nearby. She was easy to understand and had a fun sense of humor. Our group of 8 all felt this tour was very worthwhile! I do wish the AC in our van would have worked during the hot part of the day.

Our guide Tolga had the history down cold. He was very entertaining and kept us engaged. We traveled from the port to various locations in a private passenger van that was comfortable. We would choose his company again.
