Porta Marina was one of the main gates of ancient Pompeii and the point where many travelers first entered the city. Located near the port area, it connects to the city’s defensive walls and shows how Pompeii controlled access and protected itself. Through this gate you can still walk along the original stone ramp and see the impressive fortifications that once welcomed merchants, sailors, and visitors arriving from the Bay of Naples.

5.00I really cannot say enough about our 3 days with Fabrizio. He is a historian and archeologist by training, has 30+ years of guide experience and will build you a totally personal trip depending on your interests. I was specifically looking for someone with a good knowledge of the history of Pompeii and Herculanium. He exceeded all expectations. He has both broad and very deep knowledge of Roman history, Pompeii and the Amalfi region. He got into the weeds with my mom about history stuff but also was good at engaging our kids with age appropriate interesting information about life in 79AD. When we go back (which we all want to - including my 2 teenagers) I will certainly be calling him again!!

5.00This experience was tremendous. We did it as a day trip from Rome. Fabrizio picked us up from the Naples train station in the morning and returned us in the evening. Our Pompeii tour was catered to our three kids, but he made it incredibly interesting for us all. There are certain places that I’m sure are always busy (forum, market) but he knew how to guide us away from the crowds. Most importantly, he kept our kids engaged for the full three hours. We could not ask for a better tour guide. After lunch he took us on a beautiful drive along the Amalfi coast, ending in Sorrento. We had to change plans because of a road closure going to Ravello, and he gave us a memorable afternoon without missing a beat. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to explore pompeii, Naples, or the other tours they offer.

5.00We had an incredible day with Giuseppe visiting Pompeii and the Amalfi coast. From the moment we booked the tour, we had top notch customer service with several suggestions on how to best tailor our tour for our needs. The kids were excited the entire tour of Pompeii between Giuseppe’s games, stories, and map. He had such a wonderful and positive attitude with so much patience for all of the kids questions. The seaside town of Maiori was out of postcard and the views from Ravello were breathtaking. Giuseppe gave us the perfect amount of information, guidance, and independence to roam and explore. Thank you for a very memorable day!

5.00Giuseppe was a wonderful guide and host for the day. He showed us the beauty of Amalfi Coast and some of the charming small towns. He then took us to Pompei and we were impressed with his knowledge of such a vast historical site. Our family had an amazing time and we cannot wait to visit Italy again. We would definitely use them again.

5.00Fabio was amazing!! We toured Pompeii, and had a wine tasting/ tour at Mt. Vesuvius, then to our hotel in Positano! Fabrizio even set us up with a driver back to the airport for our departure which is very helpful!!!! 10/10 recommend!!!

5.00Had an amazing time touring Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. Giuseppe promptly picked us up on time and gave us a very informative ride on our way to Pompeii. Van was very clean and spacious to fit 7 adults. He was very accommodating and gave us the experience we were looking for our on tour. He made a great recommendations for a lunch restaurant while showing us the amazing views on the way to the Amalfi Coast.
