Amazing experience with Mo who told us a lot about the aurora and Yellowknife. We chased first and got an amazing view and photos of the dancing aurora. Then we went to the lodge which was a great place to relax and wait (Yellowknife has a livecam of the sky so you can check that before ever going outside again). Aurora didn't show up much while we were at the lodge though Mo did make an unscheduled stop on the way home to see a final auroral display and then take us on the ice road across the lake. I've been on three different aurora tours in Yellowknife and this is a great middle ground between the Aurora Village (no chasing) and a full chasing experience (no bathrooms for 4 hours).

The whole organisation was really good and the people were soo nice and they try their best to give you unforgettable moments... While the Northern Lights are out, you can still hang out in the fireplace, relax on the sofa, eat snacks and play games. The Northern Lights were also stylishly photographed with tepees and lodges.

This is a must do tour! Tina was a super guide who provided a wealth of information and a professional photographer that ensured her shots were great and shared all photos on the bus home as well as on Google drive. Before you go - Do your homework! Conditions were perfect - new moon, no cloud cover, KP 65% chance and it was the last month of the last yr of the 11 yr cycle! AND Mother Nature delivered! The aurora started hazy about an hr after arrival to the cozy lodge and became unbelievably vibrant & intense for the next 15 min! The lodge was a welcome retreat to warm up, enjoy snacks, hot drinks, a flaming wood fireplace, games, and a cozy water closet in between viewing on a very cold night (-34 & felt like -52 with the wind chill)! There is no guarantee but we struck pay dirt on the 2025 winter solstice! The international small group was friendly and made the entire evening fun! Thank you Tina!

We had a fabulous and very comfortable experience seeing the northern lights! We weren’t sure about going with a larger group, we were about 14 people, but it was a nice size and Mo was extremely attentive. The tour was conducted half in English and half in Chinese so very accommodating for everyone. The lodge was very comfortable and great for washrooms access and to warm up. Don’t miss out on going down to the lake as it’s darker down there for even better viewing. Despite it not being a high KP index that night it was clear (more important than KP index apparently) and we weren’t sure patient (we didn’t see much the first two hours) and then a little after midnight there was quite a show. All in all a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this company and would go again with them.

There is a lake in 3 minutes walk that has a great and clear view. We saw the aurora dancing in the sky and stars are bigger than ever. Absolutely love it!

Our guide Mo was excellent. He was experienced and gave a thorough explanation of aurora phenomenon. At the lodge he started a fire and provided snacks and drink. He also spoke on items in the lodge and the relationship to Yellowknife and the Northern Territory. Throughout our time there he was constantly hunting for Auroras. After minor sightings we were able to find an active display. He took professional pictures and provided them for all of us. A very successful and worthwhile experience.

Great tour - saw the northern lights on our first night in Yellowknife! It was cold so it was nice to have a lodge to warm up in with hot chocolate and snacks. We were in a small group and Mo shared lots of great information and took great photos to share with us (at no cost). Thank you Mo for the experience!
