Bill was a great guide and it was a perfect introduction to Yellowknife, and helped us get the lay of the land. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I thank Arctic Tours for this journey! We came to Yellowknife from Toronto. It was amazing tour! Our guides were very knowledgeable and took care about tourists very good. Tour bus was every time just in scheduled time. They tried to keep us warm with tea, coffee, treats and hot chocolate, they took our pictures and answered on all our questions. We were lucky, weather was perfect. We saw amazing 60% storm. We saw Northern light every night. Thank you very much Arctic Tours for this unforgettable tour!

The guide was Japanese and made small changes as needed. Around Christmas time, shops and museums are closed, so you may not be able to go where you want to go. This time, the guide and driver consulted and did some sightseeing in the city with some changes.

Tour isn’t worth it as get dropped at heritage centre, taken to the welcome to Yellowknife sign, go to an cultural community (which is just normal houses now and sit on the bus which couldn’t see out as frozen windows), got to pilot monument which is just in town also and went to the lake rod, but can get into that anytime by walking on the great slave lake. The bus was freezing cold and if it was warm might have been okay

Winfred is patient, generous of his time and his person. An excellent guide. We had a wonderful time around town, at the Legislative Assembly, the Museum, de Diamond Center, the Old Town... :-)

The tour was OK. It covered all main attractions in 3 hours in Yellowknife. However if you could spare around 5 hours, you could go to these attractions by short walking distance or taxi rides of less than $10 from one end of Yellowknife to the other. Old town is nice to walk around.

We went to the city tour with ArcticTours, our driver and guide Windfred was very nice, he park the car near the sights. We enjoy everything especially the Heritage Center and the driving on the Lake.

This tour was a great way to get your bearings and know where you may want to spend a bit more time on your own. We all really enjoyed it.

Our guide, Lovingson, went over and beyond his promised 3 hour tour and could not do enough for us. As we were seniors he dropped us at doors and had a more experienced guide tour us through the museum and legislative buildings. He stayed while my husband shopped for diamonds and was very interested in our wellbeing.
