We use our comfortable minivans that seat 8-20 people to hunt the Auroras - the Northern lights - so that we have the possibility to go as far as needed to find the Auroras. We cannot guarantee that you will see the Northern lights, but what we can guarantee is that we will do everything in our power to find them for you.
Our Aurora Hunt is organized for small groups to assure the quality of the service for our guests. All our guides are professional "Aurora Hunters" and can answer all your questions about Auroras, Finland, and the culture. The Hunt is always customized by the guide according to weather and the Aurora forecast, but it always includes transportation, English speaking guide, warm drinks, and some snacks.

We'll have stops at the best places to see the Nothern Lights around Saariselkä. Enjoy taking photos of the natural beauty, learning about the Auroras from the guide, and warming up with hot drinks.
Inari
We search for Auroras and clear skies, so we visit at least 3 locations away from the artificial lights following the forecasts which change rapidly. Thus, we don't provide exact stop locations, we adjust on the go to increase our chances for success.

I was able to see only the weakest parts of the Northern Lights, but I think that was because of various factors such as weather and solar activity. However, small groups of up to eight people in a minivan. I thought it was a good way to hunt for us to tour five places, sometimes as a team with a few other cars, sometimes as a group and sometimes as a group, sharing information about the weather. Also, there was a transfer to the hotel, so it was safe.

The overall experience was amazing. We got to see the lights at multiple points. Jesse was a knowledgeable guide, who took us to great locations and kept us entertained with facts.

Fantastic! We were lucky to have the northern lights in full display all evening so didn’t need to hunt. But the guide took us to some amazing locations anyway and got fantastic pictures to treasure forever. Beautiful locations with amazing views. It was a freezing cold night so the hot drinks and biscuits were a lovely treat. Our 9 yr old also enjoyed the fun. Thank you all so much! Highly recommend.

Amar was a wonderful guide. Although we were not very confident in our English, he was incredibly kind and helpful. When we asked him to take photos with our iPhone, he gladly accepted and was so friendly. During the tour, he took us to various beautiful spots and even offered us warm juice and cookies. We were able to see a magnificent aurora, and it became the best memory of our trip! If we ever have the chance to come to Lapland again, we would definitely love to join this tour once more.

He was a nice guide in a comfortable car. However, the weather was just too bad! The whole organisation was really good and the people were soo nice and they try their best to give you unforgettable moments... Weather permitting, this is the best tour

We booked our tour last minute. Maksim, our guide was extremely meticulous. We loved our conversations with him. He was constantly coordinating with other colleagues to ensure he is the first one to know where there are aurora sightings and quickly took us to such places. He was an amazing conversationalist. Took really good pictures of us. Ensured we reach back to hotel safely.

Although our luck on the weather was not the best, we still had an amazing first aurora tour in our life, THANKS TO AMAR. We recommend the trip with this company and with Amar. He suggested multiple options for some days in advance for the best experience, and also on the date of tour, he recommended us to go earlier, and he was just right! We managed to observe many lovely aurora, and moon ring as well!! The snack and hot berry drink was so lovely too, such a warm and delicious treat with the sweet thoughtful service. Also, please note that in first hour or so, we did not see aurora, but Amar kept looking for it, driving for long stopping at multiple spots, to make the best experience for us. That already moved many of us in the van. It was on my mom’s bucket list to watch aurora and it was worth traveling to Saariselkä. I’m happy I trusted them! :))

Thanks to our guide Ivan's dedication and Timetravels team well-coordinated effort we were able to see an amazing aurora light show even when it was too cloudy in our area! Unlike some other groups which we passed by on the road, they were actively moving and changing their route according to weather conditions (very well equipped with various radar apps and constantly checking in with their contacts), so we ended up driving 1.5 hours to the south (and not north as usual) to find some really clear skies. And what an amazing sight it was! The tour went on for quite a lot longer than the planned 3 hours, and it was clear that for our guide the most important thing was to give everyone a wonderful experience. Really have only positive things to say about this experience. Looking at other reviews, they seem to hold up their level of quality for the last couple of years.
