If you only have one day to explore, this tour is a great way to experience Baden Baden, Strasbourg’s charm and the majesty of the Black Forest. Our driver and guide, Willie, was knowledgeable, witty, and engaging, which made the long hours on the road more bearable. Tour Highlights & Tips * Be prepared for a long day mostly spent in the car, with several scenic stops. * Bring your passport, water, and small change or a credit card—there’s a coffee and toilet break early on, and the restroom costs 1 Euro. * The itinerary is packed, so some stops may feel a bit rushed, but the sights are worth it. * Strasbourg is stunning, and the Black Forest lives up to its name—lush, dramatic, and peaceful. Book this tour if you're short on time but want to see a lot. It’s a well-organized snapshot of the iconic regions.

It has been good trip, very interesting story told us by the driver. Comfortable mini bus. It was very long day and the trip but its worth it. May be next time we have to spend less time in the black forest to give us opportunity to see Strasbourg. Thank you!

Our tour guide,Peter was very knowledgeable and provided interesting information. This trip lasts an entire day,be prepared to spend several hours traveling, however well worth the experience.! Our only disappointment was not have free time to explore Stausbourg.

Beautiful city, worth seeing, 1 hour away from Ludwigshafen.. interesting visit to the Altes Schloss, but Neus Schloss has no visit, it is private property (you can walk in its surroundings, with a visit from the top of the city).

We booked the Day Tour to Baden-Baden, Black Forest, and Strasbourg from Frankfurt on September 18. 2025 (booked under my sister’s name). The experience was unsafe, misrepresented, and not delivered as advertised. Not a guided tour: What was marketed as a guided tour was actually just a driver with no knowledge of the destinations. He admitted he had never been to Baden-Baden and even had to pull over to Google lunch options. Strasbourg inaccessible: The city was closed due to publicly scheduled protests and roadblocks, which any professional operator should have known about. Instead, we lost hours in traffic with no alternative plan offered. Unsafe and rushed driving: The driver insisted he had to end the tour by 8 p.m., rushed us through each stop, and drove at speeds over 180 km/h to get to his next job. This felt reckless and unsafe. We paid $779.04 for three adults, but the value received was nowhere near acceptable. To make matters worse, Viator denied any type of partial or full refund request my sister submitted and never responded to my follow-up email. This tour was misrepresented, poorly planned, and conducted in an unsafe manner. The lack of accountability when issues were raised shows Viator cannot be relied on. I strongly advise others to avoid Viator altogether.

Our driver Thomas was very knowledgeable on the history of the sites toured. He was very funny, kind and friendly. We met wonderful people in our small group and had the best time. One woman found highland cows while we had stopped for sightseeing pictures!! Thanks again Thomas!!!

Peter was a great tour guide. All three places were spectacular. Tour was relaxed and we enjoyed it. Don’t skip this tour when you’re in Frankfurt.
