What To Expect

In this interactive experience, you will learn to make Spanish tapas, traditional paella, and sangria. Share a hearty dinner of classic local cuisine that you’ve had a hand in making. All great Spanish food starts with super fresh ingredients, so you will begin this cooking class with a guided trip through La Boqueria market. Afterwards, the chef will lead this interactive Spanish cooking class on how to create tapas, paella and sangria. At the end of the experience, you can even take the recipes back with you in order to impress your friends back home.

Incredible Spain experience! we were able to head to the market and purchase our items for the dinner. Once we got back we were able to make friends with our group while our chef Lucca prepared and served tapas with Sangria. Once we were able to enjoy the Spanish food, we were able to all work together to make the Paella! It was such a fun experience that I will never forget. Even if you are a picky eater this experience is far more than just eating. We were able to immerse ourselves in the experience and make new friends. Would recommend!

Kako was the best chef! And this was probably our favorite thing we did in Barcelona! I loved meeting everyone else that was in the group. He made an environment where we could socialize but also watch and ask questions on how the food was made. He even made chicken paella in substitution due to allergies! Kako even was kind enough to give us recommendations for the rest of our trip. Great guy and hope to cross paths again someday.

This ended up being one of our absolute favorite moments in Barcelona. We were celebrating a family engagement, and our host made the whole experience feel personal and special from start to finish. Exploring the market, learning the recipes, cooking together, sipping wine, and laughing our way through the night made it something we’ll always remember. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of local culture, amazing food, and a little celebration energy, this class is it.

The paella was delicious. Chef Kako was welcoming and very cool. His English was excellent, which was very helpful for us. We learned a lot at the fish market and enjoyed the rest of the market as well.

Wow this was a very fun and relaxing evening. My husband and I both learned some new cooking techniques. Atmosphere was very comfortable in a relaxed family table setting. The trip to the market was also fun to see. Luca was great and kept the group involved. We would highly recommend this activity.

Was a really fun experience. Santi was great, he did a really good job of getting the whole group involved and having fun. Definitely keen to pull this recipe back out when we get home
