Great cook, always up for a joke and entertainment. And the paella was delicious as well, of course.

Overall a good experience. To improve the interaction between chef and customers during the preparation of paella. Times a bit pressing because of other groups coming.

Luca was friendly and professional. His cooking and instructions were outstanding. It felt like a labor of love for him. The class is offered in a small group setting around a large table - only our family and another family in the professional kitchen where the class is held. Luca first took us shopping for fresh ingredients at La Boccaria market. Back at the kitchen we were seated around the table while Luca made us tapas and served them to us. Simple but delicious. He then walked us through paella making, including us in the process. He even made a vegetarian version specifically for the single vegetarian in the group (me). I will come back next time I’m in Barcelona.

I’ve taken other classes, this was much different. I walked away with a tip for buying my favorite wine, a recipe for another dish I couldn’t master, and an Amazon purchase to upgrade my home paella game. This was perfect.

Really nice class! Andrea was an excellent guide, teacher, and chef! You can participate to the extent you’d like (just drinking Sangria is an option!) for the cooking portion of the class. The whole experience is about 3 hours long, and you can scan a QR code at the end to receive the recipe. We were lucky and there weren’t too many people in the class, but I imagine in the summer it would be packed in the kitchen.

We had a lovely evening with Chef Andrea and our fellow cooking buddies! Enjoyed the quick trip to the market and learning about the different kinds of seafood necessary to make the traditional paella in Catalonia region. Then off to the beautiful kitchen to get to work on our dinner and drink some sangria and wine!! There were a variety of tasks to choose from to help prepare the paella, so no need to have a lot of experience cooking. We had lots of fun on this tour, would recommend this experience 100%!!

Overall, this was a great experience! The trip to the market was interesting and the location of the class was a surprise. The cooking class was very organized, and the instructor explained everything in great detail. I highly recommend the class, however, we have been unable get the recipes as promised from the instructor. I’ve tried contacting them every which way possible, with no response. I’ve reached out to Trip Advisor as well, still no response.

Awesome experience. Andreas did an amazing job of entertaining, cooking, and teaching us. From picking fresh ingredients from a local market to finishing the night with complimentary churros the whole night was excellent
