I will tailor each private wine tour to the individual and their interests in the Barossa and allow them to be able to see some of the Barossa's best small producers. As I will be their tour guide, they also get 2 decades of local knowledge of the world famous Barossa region for this fully tailored luxury experience.
My private wine tours of the Barossa and other wine regions are strictly for a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 6

What To Expect
Barossa Valley
Pickup will be in the Adelaide CBD where we will head to the Barossa Valley for the whole day of your private wine tour before being brought back to their destination in the Adelaide CBD at 5pm. Your private tour of the Barossa will be with Kym Farley, a born and bred local of the area and you get his insights in to the area.While you are in the Barossa Valley you will get the chance to see some of Barossa's best small wine producers, possibly meet a winemaker with lunch also provided for the day. I generally aim to do 2 cellar doors before lunch with 1-2 cellar doors after lunch.

5.00This was a fabulous day. Kym designed an itinerary specifically for us which suited us down to the terroir. We visited Kaesler, Hoffman, Izmay and Torbreck. We were very well looked after at each property. Kym is very knowledgable and a charming host. Thank you.

5.00Kym treated us to a truly bespoke wine tasting experience. He selected four great wineries for us to visit and the tour of two of the wineries was done by the actual owners. Kym has an encyclopedic knowledge of wine and wineries. We all enjoyed our day with Kym.

5.00Kum was amazing picking out 4 very different wine tasting experiences from a micro winery to a Cellar Door. Each with varying wines from wine maker/farmers to volume producers. Kim’s knowledge of the region and wines was excellent while riding in his very comfortable van.

5.00Our tour guide Kym was exceptional! His 7 seater vehicle was immaculate. Kym was very knowledgeable and took us to some amazing wineries and eateries. We highly recommend him as nothing was too much trouble. We could take our time at each venue with no set time limits. It was great to have a private tour.

5.00The title is an attempt to distill the experience we had with Kym. It was simply and genuinely terrific! There is absolutely nothing to complain about. To begin with, we decided to book on very short notice — just a few hours before the start of our tour the next day. Despite this, Kym still took the time to ask us about specific things or characteristics we wanted to experience during the tour — and we can only conclude: every single one of our boxes was ticked. Precisely. And there was more — much more! A wonderfully curated blend of exciting visits, culminating in our final winery: Ballycroft. It's hard to describe — you simply have to see it for yourself. Joe is a fascinating character, and so are his “no-compromise, full-throttle” reds. We are so grateful to you, dear Kym. A spectacular experience, worth every invested penny. What more could you ask for as a curious visitor hoping to get the most out of the valley in just 8 to 9 hours? Go for Kym! Read my lips — you will not be disappointed.
