What a wonderful experience we had, thanks to Innez from Food and Wine Tours. It was simply the best. The tour was intimate, and Innez was incredibly accommodating to all of our requests. We began with a scenic drive past Glenelg before travelling along the beautiful coastal road to Moana, eventually arriving at our first destination, Maxwell Wines. What a stunning venue — we absolutely loved the honey mead. Heidi was a gracious host, sharing the history of the winery and the wines they produce, which made for a fantastic start to the day. From there, we stopped at the d’Arenberg Cube for a photo opportunity and a chance to view the Dr Seuss art collection. Our second winery was Haselgrove Wines, where the lovely Rebecca — along with her Great Dane/Bull Arab pup, Marlowe — welcomed us at the cellar door for a tasting session. The wines were exceptional. Next, we headed to Hugo Winery to enjoy a delicious ploughman’s platter featuring fresh local produce, paired perfectly with their wines. Our final stop was Shottesbrooke Winery, where we were once again impressed by a wonderful wine tasting experience. On the journey home, Innez surprised us with a spontaneous stop at the Menz Chocolate Factory, where we picked up a few treats before finally returning to our hotel for a well-earned rest. Thank you, Innez, for taking us on such a magnificent trip and creating an experience we will always remember. Both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend Food and Wine Tours — you won’t be disappointed.

Bruce our driver and host for the day arrived early and we set off to collect the other guests. We were 6 guests in total and from different countries. We had a great time getting to know each other. We visiting 2 wineries before our charcuterie lunch at a 3rd, then one more winery to finish the day. We also managed to squeeze in a short visit to the 'cube' and a winery known for their olive oil. One of our guests was very keen to buy some local olive oil. We all enjoyed the day and were good chums by the end. Bruce was full of local info as well as sharing his sense of humour. The wineries were all good and the first one especially so. Each winery offered good information about their wines and we enjoyed all the samples! The charcuterie board was splendid and enough food for all. We had 3 boards for 6 people! It was a great visit to McLaren Vale!

Absolutely great tour of the McLaren Vale with visits to Maxwell, Hugo, MollyDooker and Oliver Taranga. The charcuterie board at Hugo was spot on!! We also enjoyed a scenic tour of the Costal areas. If you have the desire to see the area and hit a lot of the region in a day, Danny is your guy and would HIGHLY recommend him again!!

There were 8 of us on this fabulous McLaren Vale wine tour. Vince, our driver and guide was great! Lots of information delivered in a fun way then he dropped us off and rounded us up at 4 well chosen wineries. Each one had its own character but the passion and enthusiasm (and lots of tasty wine!) shone through all of them. Wonderful local produce sharing platter lunch! Would highly recommend to everyone 👍

We booked for a half day wine tour in McLaren Vale. Danny our tour guide/driver was punctual and knowledgeable of the region. Lunch at Hugo's vineyard was a real treat, hosted by very friendly Lucy Hugo. All in all a very enjoyable day.

We had a wonderful day out with Innez! This was our first time to Adelaide so in addition to our fabulous McLaren Vale tour, she showed us a few sites on the way down. It was a wonderful day with lots of great wineries, food and most importantly, an expert guide. Would thoroughly recommend!
