What To Expect
Your private guide will pick up in your hotel around 5:30pm, and you will be transferred to Bai Jia Da Yuan restaurant directly. Bai Jia Da Yuan was built in 300 years ago, and it was the Prince Palace in Qing dynasy. Over than 50 hectares, full of beautiful pavilions, terrace, towers, corridors, trees, flowers and water pond. It's not only a restaurant but also a protected culture heritage by the government. After waking to Bai Jia Da Yuan, you will immediately step back to the history. Everyone wears Chinese ancient garment to serve you, and you will be around by concubines palace maids and eunuchs which you never experience before. The performance starts at 7pm. Imagining yourself as the emperor or empress for the night!
Back Lakes (Hou Hai)
After your wonderful dinner, your Beijing night tour starts! Your guide will take you to Houhai Lake Bar area, and you will pass by famous Birdnest (National Olympic Stadium), Water Cube, Drum tower and Bell Tower, and more! You surely will enjoy the night sightseeing of the city. In Houhai Lake area, there are more than 200 bars along the lake.You will see very beautiful landscape there during the night. Then, you will choose a bar to sit down, and enjoy one bottle complementary beer. After 1 hour in the bar, your tour guide will send you back to your hotel. If you wish to stay longer, you will take taxi back to your hotel on your own arrangement.

5.00We booked the Beijing Imperial Dining experience, dreaming of feeling like emperors… and ended up slightly confused nobles instead. They changed our date (maybe the emperor wasn’t available?), and although we asked for a Spanish tour, we got the English one — so let’s just say the “organization department” might need a royal shake-up. BUT—and this is a huge BUT—our guide Wendy was absolutely amazing. If Wendy ran the empire, everything would be on time, in perfect Spanish, and we’d probably all get free dumplings. She was funny, kind, super knowledgeable, and made the whole experience 1000x better. So yeah, the schedule might be chaos, but Wendy is the Empress of Tours. 👑

4.00Lisa is a patient, helpful and knowledgeable guide. She shares interesting snippets of stories with us. It is definitely an unique experience at 白家大院. We were taken by the gardens, the architecture of the houses, the various performances and the food. We took many photos. Would recommend friends to visit the place.

4.00Taking this tour, was a fun way to experience a bit of old Imperial China. The beautiful gardens and venue were elegant. The staff, all dressed in traditional clothing from the time period, helped lend to an authentic feel. Our guide, Lisa, was excellent. Pleasant and informative, she gave us insight into the past. Though we did not enjoy the food we were served, we still enjoyed the experience. The show which was presented during our meal, was varied and interesting. It gave us a small taste of Chinese Opera, music, dancing and face-mask changing. Afterwards, we were taken on a night tour to see some of the major sites of Beijing including the Bird's Nest. We then did a walking tour in the Houhai Lake Bar area, which was lots of fun. This tour is recommended, if you want something different.
A Must! You need to do this experience!!

5.00Our host Lisa was the most experienced and professional tour guide in China. She treated us like VIP's all of the way. The experience at the Bai Jia Da Yuan Restaurant is as opulent and it could have been Imperial Times in China, with outstanding food and a great cultural show. I have never seen anything like it. It was the highlight of our vacation. Transportation was in a luxury van with leather seats and very courteous driver. Without hesitation I recommend this tour and Lily's Beijing Tour Guide Service.

5.00I went here with my 14 year old daughter. What can I say it was so beautiful. The staff were all in traditional clothing. We were taken for a tour of the gardens before we ate. I’m no Gardner but they were stunning. In fact so beautiful I’ve come home and I’m doing my garden it was such an inspiration. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the show as we ate. Our tour operator was so lovely from Lilly’s tours. We then went for a tor around the lake which was great. Loads to see and very lively. All in all a brilliant night my daughter loved it.
