What To Expect

Your private guide will pick up in your hotel around 5:30pm, and you will be transferred to Bai Jia Da Yuan restaurant directly. Bai Jia Da Yuan was built in 300 years ago, and it was the Prince Palace in Qing dynasy. Over than 50 hectares, full of beautiful pavilions, terrace, towers, corridors, trees, flowers and water pond. It's not only a restaurant but also a protected culture heritage by the government. After waking to Bai Jia Da Yuan, you will immediately step back to the history. Everyone wears Chinese ancient garment to serve you, and you will be around by concubines palace maids and eunuchs which you never experience before. The performance starts at 7pm. Imagining yourself as the emperor or empress for the night!

Back Lakes (Hou Hai)

After your wonderful dinner, your Beijing night tour starts! Your guide will take you to Houhai Lake Bar area, and you will pass by famous Birdnest (National Olympic Stadium), Water Cube, Drum tower and Bell Tower, and more! You surely will enjoy the night sightseeing of the city. In Houhai Lake area, there are more than 200 bars along the lake.You will see very beautiful landscape there during the night. Then, you will choose a bar to sit down, and enjoy one bottle complementary beer. After 1 hour in the bar, your tour guide will send you back to your hotel. If you wish to stay longer, you will take taxi back to your hotel on your own arrangement.

Our guide Lisa was warm and welcoming, and she shared many interesting details with us. The location is amazing. The performances were brief but offered a nice mix of artistic styles. The food was just OK. We skipped the bar tour.

We had been in Beijing for four days but our visit didn't really begin until we took this tour. Jenny showed up right on time and led us through our evening's adventure. Great private van for a smooth ride to the restaurant. The experience was everything we hoped for. Exquisite setting, beautiful staff, delicious food and a great show. Must say that when I walked into the courtyard, it was so beautiful that it took my breath away. Then, as promised Jenny took us on the lake tour, which is really a visit to a lively area next to the lake. Every minute was filled with interesting details and we learned more about Beijing in those few hours than all the books we had read. Jenny becomes your instant friend in Beijing and you know you can trust anything she says. Just a great, great evening. Don't miss it.

Lily was our guide for this fun and informative evening out. The dining experience with the show was incredible. From artistic dance to the finer points of the tea ceremony, we stepped back into time. The location is palatial, with exquisite lighting and finely costumed servants, princes, and concubines. The food served is fresh and beautiful.

The Houhai bar area is frequented by locals and provides a romantic environment for a stroll along the river. There is one venue after the next with live music the likes of which we do not get in the US. And there are musical options for every one. Such talent!

We highly recommend this tour - and ask for Lily. She is amazing!!

This tour was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Lily collected us on time from our hotel and safely returned us at the end of the night.

She was a very helpful, considerate and friendly guide and chose excellent dishes and wine for our dining experience. The restaurant is set in beautiful gardens and the staff dress in traditional dress which adds to the atmosphere. The show had a variety of performers from traditional dancing to a tea ceremony.

After our wonderful meal Lily took us to the bar area along the river and we had a beer and listened to local performers which were very good.
