5.00Really, really glad we decided to take a car from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh instead of flying, because Same Sa Vat provided a really enjoyable ride down with a peek into the local culture. He was very accommodating with our requests, including seeing the spider farm. But, per his suggestions, we also stopped by a few places along the way and got to try out puffed rice balls, steamed coconut rice, see a historic bridge, and more. Felt like we got to experience true Cambodian hospitality with him.

5.00I highly recommend Sam for travel from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. He is a fluent English-speaking driver, which is not easy to find in Cambodia. Communication before the journey was excellent, and despite heavy rain, he arrived 20 minutes early to ensure he would be on time. During the trip, we had a fascinating conversation about Cambodian culture. Sam is a very kind and pleasant person, and the long journey was extremely comfortable with him.
