  • A wonderful morning in the North End

The tour was wonderful! Bob took us through a neighborhood that was clearly "his" in the very bet of ways. When a guide gets "hello's" from folks on the street and warm smiles and waves, you know he is 'home'. He was great and I will recommend him and Intrepid often!

Nabil was great! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and passionate about the neighborhood. We went to what seemed the best and genuinely local spots, and he navigated all the logistics beautifully. Easy morning of following along, learning and eating, and meeting like-minded people. Plenty of food and a nice mix of selections!

  • Perfect North End Food Tour

The North End Food tour was so fun! Our tour guide, Bob, was spot-on, giving us neighborhood background, history, and development plus great food stops and other recommendations. He took us to an out -of - the-way bakery and some of the less touristed but delicious places. It was cold but he had us inside enough so it didn't matter, including a well time bathroom stop. We really got a sense of this historic vibrant, wonderful Italian area and the people who lived and live there. And did I mention the food was delicious? I went back to the Italian grocery and brought some goodies home.

We toured the North End with our exceptional guide, Nabil, to sample delicious local foods and visit several historic colonial sites. It was an outstanding tour, thanks to Nabil's deep knowledge of the area, his enthusiasm and evident love of North End foods and culture as well as Boston history. Thanks to Nabil's knowledge and charm, the tour could not have been better. This wonderful tour was well worth the cost and a fun, fascinating and memorable experience.

Olivia did afangtastic job on this North End food tour. Knowledgeable about the history and also shared some lesser-known information, which was great. The stops were well planned. Olivia engaged with all members of the tour.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on the North End Food Tour, and our guide Olivia made it truly unforgettable. From the very first stop, it was clear how knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate she is about Boston’s history and food scene. We loved starting the tour tucked away in a hidden alley at Bricco Panetteria with incredible fresh bread baked with prosciutto and parmesan. Olivia then brought us to historic Caffè Vittoria, where we enjoyed excellent coffee and perfectly filled-to-order cannoli while learning about its long history. One of the highlights was visiting Salumeria Italiana, the oldest grocery store in the North End, sampling delicious Italian sandwiches and a unique balsamic vinegar bottled just for that shop. The pizza stop at the original Regina Pizzeria was a must — thin, brick-oven crust with a perfect sauce-to-cheese ratio, and so much history behind it. Beyond the food, Olivia’s storytelling along the Freedom Trail really stood out. Hearing the lesser-known details about Paul Revere, including his family, businesses, and even the part of the midnight ride that often gets left out, made the history come alive and genuinely fun. She struck the perfect balance between education, humor, and local insight. Olivia also shared great restaurant recommendations we’re excited to try next time we’re in Boston. This tour was well paced, thoughtfully curated, and full of memorable moments.
