We have been on several wine tours and this one was unique. The wineries are all small operations. Our tasting was in the cellar, which is built into a hillside. The owner explained (with translation) about each of the wines. As we exited and entered Budapest, our guide pointed out the sites that we were passing.

Our guide, Susan, was amazing! She explained some of the Budapest history while we drove out to the wineries (about 35 min drive). We tasted three different wineries and several different types of wine at each stop. It was also great to socialize with all the different people on the tour as the guests included in our group were from all over the world. Would recommend this event if traveling to Budapest!

We highly recommend this tour! Peter was very knowledgeable, engaging, and had a great sense of humor! The small vineyards offered a delightful selection of wines & shared their passion of wine making with us. The traditional Hungarian meal was incredibly delicious.

The guide met us at the Four Seasons at 1030, near our apartment. There were 14 people on the tour, traveling in a very comfortable mini bus/van, and our guides were fantastic. We went to two vineyards, tasting 4 to 6 wines at each, and the second vineyard included a delicious venison stew lunch. The wines were fantastic, I purchased 2 delicious chardoneys which we drank over that week.

Our Guide was entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. We chose the 3pm time our guide arrived on time and is exactly as described . What a fun filled afternoon/evening while learning about Hungarian Wine. So glad we did this tour
