What To Expect
St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika)
You will visit the impressive Saint Stephen's Basilica built for the memory of the first Hungarian king (died in 1038). It has many statues and frescoes, as well as the mummified right hand of the first king. The church is open every day, except Sunday morning religious service.

You will see the dramatic monuments of the Nazi and Soviet occupations and dictatorships as well as the miraculous fountain (during the warm season).

5.00Alexandra, our private tour guide, took us to several churches and landmarks in the beautiful, historic city of Budapest. It was an all-day walking tour, utilizing public transportation (free to use with our US passports and confirming our age over 65). Alexandra was professional, yet friendly, and spoke excellent English.

5.00I would absolutely recommend this tour. I have a lot of mobility issues and our tour guide was very accommodating to my physical setbacks. He went very slowly so I could be comfortable and that was greatly appreciated. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about each place we went. He was very kind and friendly and overall a pleasure to be around. Go ahead and book it!
