What To Expect
Hungarian Parliament Building
The first in line is the Visitor Centre, where the tour starts and our guests arrive, a waiting centre in THE UNDERGROUND with an information desk, café and gift shop. Inside the Parliament, you can see the Dome Hall, the Ceremonial Steps, of course, the Holy Crown, and an exhibition on your way out. The ticket price also includes a museum outside the Parliament called the Parliament Museum. Please arrive 30 minutes before your booked time slot, because you have to go trough a security check.

4.00My partner booked this tour for us as we do like to have a nose around when visiting cities! Process was easy, arrived, spoke to the guy, got clear instructions and then through security, hung coats and off you go on the tour. About 45 mins, lots to see - I just wished it was longer but other than that really enjoyed seeing the Crown Jewels and the parliamentary chamber. Worth doing if you are visiting. Go on the early tour at 09:30 - this place gets busy as the day goes on.

5.00I was having trouble buying tickets on the official website, but I was able to make reservations on Viator, which was very helpful. The price was also high compared to the formula but acceptable. A few days before your reservation date, you will receive a message asking you to look for your nameplate outside the entrance. The day was smooth because it was exactly what it said. I had given up on the tour because I couldn't get a ticket, but I was glad it came true.

5.00Parliament is a beautiful building. The audio tour was well done and worth the cost. The tour was sold out, but group size was reasonable and not overcrowded. The staff was very friendly. The Parliament gift shop has better prices than the tourist shops nearby.
