August 20 – Open Day and special opening hours at the Parliament Building
On August 20, 2025, there will be an open day at the Parliament Building to celebrate the founding of the state. Between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., visitors will be able to view the grand staircase, the dome hall, and the Holy Crown free of charge. Due to high interest, queues are expected. Guided tours of the Parliament Building will also depart from the Visitor Center as usual. Tickets for this tour can be purchased on our website.
If you are in Budapest, you must visit the Parliament, as it is Budapest's number one attraction.

What To Expect
Hungarian Parliament Building
The first in line is the Visitor Centre, where the tour starts and our guests arrive, a waiting centre in THE UNDERGROUND with an information desk, café and gift shop. Inside the Parliament, you can see the Dome Hall, the Ceremonial Steps, of course, the Holy Crown, and an exhibition on your way out. The ticket price also includes a museum outside the Parliament called the Parliament Museum.

4.00Ensure you are on time. they stick to the time schedule. Tour only about 45mins with audio guide. Can take photos in most areas. Really enjoyed the tour however expensive for only 45mins.
