What To Expect

Hungarian Parliament Building

The first in line is the Visitor Centre, where the tour starts and our guests arrive, a waiting centre in THE UNDERGROUND with an information desk, café and gift shop. Inside the Parliament, you can see the Dome Hall, the Ceremonial Steps, of course, the Holy Crown, and an exhibition on your way out. The ticket price also includes a museum outside the Parliament called the Parliament Museum. Please arrive 30 minutes before your booked time slot, because you have to go trough a security check.

Parliament is a beautiful building. The audio tour was well done and worth the cost. The tour was sold out, but group size was reasonable and not overcrowded. The staff was very friendly. The Parliament gift shop has better prices than the tourist shops nearby.

It is very good they all the languages you can think of. And how many times in your life will you be able to say you entered the largest Parliament in continental Europe! It is so beautiful and majestic it’s worth going!

Punctuality of your correspondent on the spot, but can we speak of a skip-the-line ticket, we waited to wait for the last latecomers, half an hour, and we were told to queue to pass security, normal, but the entry to parliament took us 1 hour.... in November....audioguide in French, which is not the case everywhere

The building (5 stars!!) is breath taking both inside and out, so you have to see it. I feel like there must be a lot we didn’t get to see given the size of the building. I didn’t find the tour that exciting but still good information to learn. I think it is just so busy with tourists they really rush you through. Still worth going for sure.

Unfortunately I can not speak well of this experience, as, I did not detect a good organization in receiving and welcoming the visitor.The meeting with the local operator and 'was disappointing both for the location and for the methods employed.Inoltre the price charged on the Tripadvisor site and' was really excessive compared to that charged locally (Euro 36.90 compared to the real price of Euro about 17.00).Experience not to be repeated with Tripadvisor... unfortunately.Signed Sergio Marone old advisor of the site.
