Meet outside the main entrance for introductions and a quick briefing. Look for the bald guy with a cool beard, also the infamous white “Experiences by George” bag on the shoulder.

5.00I went there with my sister, We had a really great experience. The food was genuinely delicious and well chosen, with a nice variety that let us discover local flavors properly. What really made it special though was the guide. Super friendly, fun and very talkative in the best way. He took the time to explain everything, shared interesting stories, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included throughout the experience. It felt relaxed, authentic, and well paced, never rushed. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does, and that energy makes a big difference. Highly recommended if you want good food, good vibes, and a guide who actually cares about making it a great experience.

5.0010/10 Absolutely highly recommend this food tour!! We always do food tours when we travel to a new city so we’ve done quite a lot and in our “experienced” opinion this is definitely on top amongst the best of the best. It’s an incredibly well crafted afternoon with so many diverse tastings that all come with both personal stories and historical background. George is an incredible host for both his knowledge and personal touches, you can tell he has put a lot into this experience. We really felt like we got to know Budapest and Hungary through George and the many dishes on this tour, and for an extremely good value too! Again, highly recommend, you definitely want to book this one.

George was a phenomenal guide- very informative and he tailored the tour very much to our small group (3 people total) and even offered his contact information to provide recommendations throughout our trip. He provided some background information on all the food we ate and the locations (which were all old, local establishments) , but did not go too in-depth into general hungarian history. all the food and drinks were great- you’ll leave feeling very full. Great bang for your buck. Could not recommend enough.

5.00It’s been such a pleasure having a tour with George! It felt like walking through this beautiful city with a friend, while enjoying loads of delicious food and drinks. He easily accommodated my vegan diet and gave us plenty of great tips on what to do and see. I would definitely recommend taking a walk with George! 😊 He is super friendly, easygoing, and very flexible - we really had a great time!
