Thermal Pool was nice the outdoor one. Indoor pools needs some thorough cleaning, the water itself isn't dirty but the tiles are old, the place smells wet and a bit moldy. There are other locations in Budapest that has thermal pools, we found out after the facts, I don't think I will go to this particular location again.

Was dubious about this, thoroughly enjoyed. Only downside couldn't find meet up for free drinks before.

Bring sandals/flip-flops and a towel. There are three outdoor pools. Cool, warm and warmer. The same with indoor pools.

The mineral baths are an interesting place to visit and we had a good time. The staff is not very welcoming for new visitors about telling you much about the place once inside. They pointed which way to get inside after getting the ticket and someone told which locker space to use but after that we were on our own to figure out what was where and what was included. There was a map that we saw as we were leaving which might have been helpful in the beginning. It was pretty crowded and we avoided some of the inside pools due to the numbers of people. The shower stalls are small as are the changing locker stalls. Hard to keep pants and or socks dry when changing as the floors are wet.

We loved this experience, but it was the perfect level of busy. Midweek, winter trip meant there was an atmosphere, but not overwhelmingly busy!
