When we first heard about the Creole culinary classroom and the different cooking classes that were offered several of us were excited with the selection and selected one that worked with our schedule. We talked with others at our resort and seven of us ended up going together for a fun evening. There were nine in our hands-on class with Anna who did a wonderful job of guiding our crazy crew. Together we learn to make several types of island drinks, fish fritters, a vegetable quiche, a delicious red snapper dinner with Creole sauce Smokey mashed potatoes, and a banana tart tatin dessert. It was a super fun evening and we all hope to do it again! Highly recommend.

Anna was amazing! We shared the day with 4 others and everyone got into the mood and the cooking. We now know how to make awesome Mohitos, delicious Tuna Tartare and even cheese puffs. Really great value, especially considering the quality food and drinks, almost same price as a restaurant. Would do again in a heartbeat.

Anna was amazing. Very personable, funny. She has a beautiful accent that was very pleasant to listen to and learn from. Hands on experience. Our food came out great. A complete meal with drinks. It was a great dinner, perfect night. She made it so effortless. Will cook the dishes she presented at home. Very pleased with this experience! Will look for her sip and cook when we go back. -Kennita, Mike, Collin and Yvette

My husband, our best friends and I had such an incredible time at Creole Culinary Classroom in 2024 that we couldn’t resist returning in 2025 and will definitely be back in 2026! This time we brought our daughter and my Mom. As we began planning our trip, we couldn’t help but reminisce about the wonderful experience we had during our first visit. Inspired by our memories, I reached out to share our excitement as repeat customers. Anna graciously offered us a Mexican-inspired class, and we were delighted to discover that it was just as enjoyable as the Caribbean-inspired menu we had in 2024. Once again, Chef Raphael, our talented and entertaining instructor, led us through the hands-on class. The convenience of receiving the recipes a few days later allowed us to focus and engage fully without the burden of memorizing everything. Chef Raphael and Anna have demonstrated remarkable flexibility in accommodating our diverse group. We ranged in age from 22 to 82, with varying abilities. They have also been incredibly accommodating of food allergies, sensitivities, and preferences. With ample notice, they have made all the necessary modifications to ensure that everyone in our group could fully enjoy the class. We are already eagerly anticipating our return in November 2026!

Small group setting made this class unique. Ana, chef and instructor, was delightful; clear instructions, engaging comments, brought context to the training. A four-hour class filled with four courses! New technical knowledge, new recipes, and full stomachs! 6 in our class; everyone participated fully hands-on from food prep to cooking to plating. The venue is upstairs in a small shopping center, small but completely modern industrial kitchen with multiple stations and with a little unexpected ambiance (Christmas decorations :-) Ana is enthusiastic, thorough, helpful, efficient, well-prepared; excellent host, and clearly an experienced chef. She made us all feel at home throughout the course. My husband gave me this class as a gift and it far exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a fun and unique experience that’s different than the Island’s many water-based activities, this is it. I’d highly recommend this whether you’re a novice or an experienced cook; it’s a fun creative experience!

This was a great experience and I would highly recommend taking a cooking class with Anna. She was friendly, knowledgeable and taught us how to make various dishes that I will definitely try at home. At the end, we ate our creations together. It was a great way to learn and eat delicious food. Thanks Anna!

We had a wonderful experience with Anna! My husband and I were recently did a food tour in NOLA (shout out to Culinary Backstreets!) and wanted a foodie experience in SXM that was more hands-on. The class (3 couples, including us) was fun, laid back, and interactive, with everyone taking a role(s). The food we made — four courses made from local ingredients - - was delicious and innovative. Anna is a great teacher, providing lots of helpful preparation tips that we can use at home, and the consummate host: when it was time to sit down for dinner, we shared wine, stories, and laughs. A really lovely evening! Highly recommend!!
