We will begin our tour in the beautiful Magic Town of Izamal, known as the Yellow City for its vibrant streets and golden colonial buildings. Tour this charming place and enjoy its warm atmosphere and impressive architecture.

Our journey continues at the Yokdzonot Cenote, where its waters invite you to cool down, relax and connect with the natural beauty of Yucatan.

The last stop is the legendary Mayan city of Chichen Itza. You will visit this iconic site with fewer people and in a softer light, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Here you can admire the majestic Pyramid of Kukulkán, the Great Ball Game, the Observatory (The Snail) and other impressive constructions that show the history, knowledge and greatness of this ancient civilization.

In addition, you will have access to an interactive online game designed to reinforce what you learned during the tour. It's a fun way to test your knowledge.

  • Fantastic, Action-Packed Day with Alberto!

We had an amazing full-day tour of Chichén Itzá, Izamal, and a beautiful cenote. It was fun, active, and filled with great experiences from start to finish. Alberto provided insightful and educational information about Mayan culture, the history of Yucatán, and the significance of each site we visited. His explanations about Chichén Itzá, Izamal, and the importance of cenotes really brought everything to life. He supported both Spanish and English speakers seamlessly, making the entire group feel included and engaged. A wonderful tour and a fantastic guide — highly recommended!

The van was comfortable and the driver drove well. The food wasn't good and there weren’t lots of options. At the pyramids, I wish the guide would have gone a little further in explaining some of the other parts of Chichen Itza. He really only talked about the main area but there’s many other remains around it that I saw and wanted to understand better. I would say for all the sites it was mostly a quick explanation in the van and then you mostly got to explore on your own which is fine if that’s what you’re into.

Be ready to wake up early, but it’s worth it. Take some electrolytes too. Wilbert was an amazing guide, fluent in both Spanish and English with amazing fun facts and great story telling abilities.

We had a wonderful experience. I traveled with a 10 yo, 11yo, and 14 yo, and we all had such a beautiful time. I appreciated how the tour was set up. We went to Izamal first, then the cenote (Ik Kil), then lunch, and then Chichen Itza. We had an hour at Izamal, another hour at Ik Kil, and then 2 hours at Chichen Itza. The kiddos wanted more time at the Cenote, but I was fine with the amount of time we had. We got really great information at Chichen Itza, and had plenty of time to take beautiful pictures and shop. The items at the market were absolutely beautiful, and I wanted to buy everything. Definitely bring cash. For the cenote, we needed 220MXN, and we needed more cash for tips for the dancers, and servers at lunch. We also needed cash for the tip for the driver and the tour guide. Chichen Itza takes card for entrance, and the people at the markets took card as well. Chichen Itza was free for children (both my 10 yo and 11yo were free). The bus ride was not bad. AC worked well. It was a little hard to hear the tour guide as he was talking about history, but that's only because we were in the back of the bus. I did wish he had a microphone. The kids didn't suffer at all with the bus rides, but that was because we had a deck of cards that they played the whole time. Strongly recommend bringing cards (or Uno)! Also, the bus was equipped with USB ports above every seat. I was running low on battery on my phone, but I only had a USB-C chord. I'd recommend bringing a portable charger, or a USB chord. Overall, we had an outstanding time, and I really only began to feel exhausted 20 minutes before we got off the bus. Those last 20 min on the bus driving through Merida to our drop-off point felt very hard, but after a 10-hour day with 3 kiddos, that's not so bad!
