Absolutely wonderful! Barbara and Stephano were delightful . I learned so much. I appreciated that they put the culinary techniques and choices in the context of local culture, as well as some interesting distinctions of how their families did and do certain things.

Wonderful cooking experience with Barbara and Stefano! Their property is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves in the hills above Riomaggiore. Text Barbara ahead of time for directions, as it is slightly difficult to find. Barbara makes the cooking a fun experience and of course it was delicious to eat afterwards. I highly recommend this!

This was an incredible experience with Barbara and Stefano at their beautiful home. We learned to make pesto and gnocchi in the most beautiful setting and also enjoyed delicious bruschetta, local wine, and great conversation while we prepped and cooked. A wonderful opportunity to learn local culture and traditions. We got to eat all that we cooked after and topped it all off with a delicious tiramisu that they made. Highly recommend this experience in the Cinque Terre!

I cannot say enough good things about Barbara and her husband! We had a memorable and intimate and educational evening of learning about local culture and making the local cuisine. Getting to Barbara’s home was an adventure in itself! We could not ask for a more kind or fun or knowledgeable host. She exceeded every expectation I had of a cooking lesson in Italy! Highly recommend. It was the highlight of our three week trip! And now we have a skill and a story to share with our own family
