This is a short and sweet diy tour of the SB coast line from the wharf. Friendly staff, clean boat, beverages for purchase, no narration. Highlight - lots of dolphins on the day we cruised!

Honestly, I’m only giving this three stars because the staff on the boat were amazing. The intake, however, was so bad and unprofessional, especially since it was my birthday. I’m a veteran with a service dog trained for low blood sugar alertness and PTSD related issues. Prior to boarding I wanted to make sure what the protocol was. The lady named Rebecca began with a set of questions about my animal which I happily provided (usually business owners do it so if the dog is not ADA thy can refuse service) . For example, I told her my dog was a service dog, she asks if it’s emotional support. It’s like saying I’m a police officer and the person asks are you a security guard? Regardless, I politely responded to every one of her questions. Then we get there and as we were walking down the dock, there was a man doing maintenance work on the side with a metal trimmer making a loud and unpleasant screeching sound. My dog immediately freaked out. Rebecca didn’t lose the chance - she ran to us to scold me that if my dog isn’t trained for water then she shouldn’t be here. My brother politely responded that he was just scared of the screeching sound. The maintenance guy noticed and immediately stopped, my dog calmed down and we walked to the boat. As we sat down my dog relaxed and Rebecca told my brother that the dog cannot be inside. That’s a strict ADA violation because service dog cannot be restricted any premise unless it’s undue burden (not only was there 0 burden, everyone inside, including the staff, loved my dog and wanted to say hi). We went out for 10 minutes but realized I can’t stay there for too long and went back in as I was not feeling so great. The staff inside was great and I thanked them repeatedly for being so nice but by then I was so mad the whole thing was just ruined, especially since it’s only an hour. I can say, without a doubt, this was one of the worst birthdays I’ve had. TL;DR If you don’t have to deal with special intake situation - such as ADA, anybody with a disability, service dog - Then it’s fine. But if you’re not a cookie cutter perfection, then expect to go through some crap in the beginning.

The tour was very pleasant. My only complaint was that there was no points of interest pointed out. All of the crew were efficiently and friendly. Thrice was a nice way to relax.
