We had an amazing experience with our tour guide, Mr. Hao. He’s very experienced and knowledgeable, always providing clear instructions on the trip agenda and offering support whenever we need it. Even though today’s trip had a 9-hour bus ride, we didn’t feel bored at all. Highly recommend Mr. Hao if you’re coming to Calgary for a guided tour!

Lake Peto lies still in the Rocky Mountains, where the water is crushed jasper, and a serenity breaks out between the valleys of the Ten Peaks. Walking to the Columbia Icefield, Perpetual Ice glows blue beneath your feet as if you were hearing the slow breathing of the Earth. This journey, from the gentleness of the lake to the verdantness of the ice sheet, is just two expressions between the fingers of nature. In between, man is as small as dust, but blessed to witness this eternal beauty.

Hao was an outstanding guide and driver during our tour of Peyto Lake, Bow Lake, and the Snowcoach experience. He was punctual, organized, and maintained a smooth, safe drive through winding mountain roads. His time management was spot-on—allowing us to fully enjoy each stop without ever feeling rushed. Hao struck the perfect balance between keeping us on track and letting us soak

From downtown Calgary, head to the glacier, and along the way you'll pass Benff National Park. The iceberg ride is spectacular. It is recommended that you wear a thick coat + waterproof shoes if you travel at the end of September. Lake Peto and Bow Lake are super beautiful on good days. The overall itinerary is reasonably scheduled, and the guide is conscientious and responsible and recommended.
