It is a cooking course where guests will be an active part of the course. Not a demonstration course but guests will literally get their hands on it! You learn simple recipes of our tradition, which can be easily recreated at home. The course takes place on my farm where I produce saffron oil, vegetables and raise chickens: the ingredients we will use are all very fresh, many of which are our own production. If time permits, we will take the course outdoors with a view of vineyards and olive trees and then eat what we have prepared in the open air, otherwise we will work in our barn. The farm stands on top of a hill in an oasis of peace and tranquility away from noise, cars and pollution. On request we can make a vegetarian menu.
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Service animals allowed
Specialized infant seats are available
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
The cooking school will start around 10:30 in the morning, but not before we have gotten to know each other, talked a bit, and perhaps taken a short tour of the farm property where we can admire our olive grove and the field where I grow saffron. Then, together, we will learn to make homemade pasta, using our herbs from the garden and our extra virgin olive oil. We will also learn how to create different pasta shapes (tagliatelle, ravioli). I will teach you how to prepare the dough to make bread and Schiacciata and how to have many different recipes from this very versatile dough. We will prepare a complete menu including appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes and dessert and we will sip some good local wine, perhaps a nice Chianti from the area! Then after cooking if the weather permits... we will enjoy lunch outdoors in the garden overlooking the vineyards and olive trees immersed in the nature of Chianti... there is nothing more relaxing and satisfying than enjoying the peace and the tranquility that the Tuscan countryside can give us!! Our farm stands at the top of a hill surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and 360 degree woods, therefore an oasis of guaranteed relaxation!!

We had an amazing experience taking a cooking class in Tuscany. The setting was beautiful, and the hosts were warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. We made delicious traditional dishes using fresh local ingredients, and the hands-on experience made it both fun and easy to follow. Camille and her husband were the best hosts.

We had an amazing time at Camilla’s family farm cooking class. She was super friendly and very patient with all of our children. We made two different kinds of bread and pastas that were super fresh and delicious and topped it off with her family red wine. It was such a wonderful day and a memory we’ll cherish. Thank you!

The family was super nice. It was a chilly day so we were inside. They were very well prepared and the food was delicious. I will feel confident making tortellini at home now. It was on the expensive side for what we did. That the only negative

This was a lovely cooking experience in Tuscany. There were 8 of us traveling together, including a one-year-old, and a high chair was provided, which was great! During the class we learned how to make focaccia, bread, two types of pasta, and a dessert — a very full and satisfying menu! Because of the time of year, the class and meal took place indoors and lasted about 4 hours. Chef Camilla was wonderful: warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. After the class, we were sent all the recipes and are excited to recreate them at home! A small note for travelers: the roads leading up to the location are quite bumpy, so a 4WD vehicle is ideal. While the experience was very good, it did feel somewhat overpriced compared to similar cooking classes we’ve done in other regions of Italy that were about half the cost and equally good. Overall, it was a great activity in Tuscany and we enjoyed a delicious, memorable meal together!

I cannot express how happy I was with our experience. The ladies were so warm and welcoming in their home. We brought along 4 kids ranging from 1yo to 16yo and all were able to participate in some fashion throughout the afternoon. Having a high chair on hand to keep the parents' hands free to cook and stay engaged. With a yard surrounding, the kids were also able to take breaks and get their energy out. The food was wonderful and getting to enjoy the fruits of your labor in a beautiful location is simply the perfect Tuscan experience (paired with great wines made from their own harvest).

If you’re looking for a cooking class in Chianti, book this one! This is the last day of our time in Tuscany and we are so glad we chose to spend it at this beautiful farm. Camilla will welcome and instruct you in basic pasta and bread-making techniques all while you enjoy her farm produced olive oil and wine (both delicious). Her lessons are well-planned and well-executed. Her warmth and sense of humor will be part of the memory you hold of this special day. We leave with her recipes and video instruction, and the confidence to make fresh pasta at home. No more boxed pasta for us! Thank you, Camilla!

There are not enough words for the hospitality and experience we had in the cooking class we took today. Camilla was the best host and a great teacher. The view and home were beautiful, the food was great and the recipes were simple. The wine and olive oil were also SO good! Cannot wait to make our own pasta and focaccia when we get home.
