Welcome to Dimitra’s Art Glass Studio in Thessaloníki, where you will enjoy a unique creative workshop experience with glass mosaics. Located right in front of Romfei Square (also known as Koule Café Square), in the historic Upper Town (our studio is located next to the Upper Town Library and the only preserved Byzantine bath in Greece), this boutique studio with personal guidance offers a hands-on art experience perfect for creating your own one-of-a-kind artwork. Experience the timeless art first developed by the ancient Greeks and enjoy a modern, hands-on workshop in Thessaloníki by esigning and making unique piece that reflect your personal style surrounded with a warm and artistic atmosphere. The workshop is limited to a small group of up to 6 participants for personalized guidance. while working on your unique piece refill your energy enjoying coffe,tea or refresments and sweet or salty snack. Color your soul with mosaic pieces and bring back home your own glass mosaic souvenir.

What To Expect

After a warm welcome you will be offered coffee, tea, soft drink or water and sweet or salty snack. During a short tour, you will see how we work with glass and experience our modern, intuitive approach to glass mosaic making, designed to be fun, creative, and accessible for everyone. No prior experience is required – we guide you through every step. During this 4-hour hands-on mosaic workshop in a small group, you will design and create your own unique glass mosaic piece, which you will take home as a personal artwork. You will start by choosing a pattern, the color of the wooden base, and the glass pieces to reflect your personal style. With step-by-step guidance and individual support, you will gradually compose your mosaic by placing and gluing the glass pieces. In the final stage, the gaps will be filled with tile grout, completing your creation. Experiment with colors, patterns, and shapes, enjoy every step of the creative process, and leave with a one-of-a-kind glass mosaic that reflects your creativity. This is more than a workshop – it’s a hands-on, artistic, and cultural experience in Thessaloníki, leaving you with a lasting souvenir of your creative journey.

Art Glass Studio is a space where creativity takes shape and color through glass. In this unique workshop, participants have the opportunity to experiment, learn glass carving techniques and create their own unique works of art. The tutoring is warm, professional and accessible even for beginners, while the environment inspires and unlockes the imagination. An excellent experience for anyone who wants to try something creative, relaxing and full of light!
