  Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable Unfortunately a lot of the time he was walking ahead of us and we could not hear him well I would suggest to provide the group with earphones so they can hear him better

  We booked the tour on seemingly the busiest day in DC so far this year. It was a Saturday, at the peak of Cherry Blossom Festival, and the first 80+ degree day. The city was swarmed with people are cars. Our driver Kris did the absolute best he could to navigate the traffic effectively and get us to see the sights. Unfortunately due to the crowds, we did feel very rushed and couldn't hear our guide (James) as we walked through the FDR and MLK memorials and tidal basin area, as well as the Lincoln Memorial. The other sights were not as crowded and so were great. Due to the traffic, we did miss our river boat cruise which was unfortunate, however Kris was communicative and arranged for my mom and I to take the cruise the following day, accommodating other things we already had scheduled. The tour itself has a great itinerary, the guide was very clearly a wealth of knowledge and information, and our driver was adept and an excellent navigator. While I wish we hadn't booked the tour for the busiest day of the year, we still had a great time seeing all the major sights and really appreciated how Kris took care of us and the cruise arrangements for the following day. An excellent way to see the iconic areas of DC and learn as you go.

  The tour did not include a boat ride and the substitution was going to a mall for lunch and to shop. I selected this tour because of the boat ride to see the cherry blossoms from the water. Extremely disappointed.

• It was like we were on the Amazing Race, but we weren’t racing for money…

  We never write reviews, but we felt obligated too because we don’t want you to waste your money, especially during the Cherry Blossom Festival. We were really disappointed with this experience. James led the pace so quick that we were rushed the entire time, and it felt like no one could keep up, and zero time to enjoy the sights. We barely stopped at the cherry blossoms, and when we asked about getting some photos, we were told we’d have plenty of time later. Unfortunately, that never happened. We could have skipped the boat ride as it was ran by a different operator and the “guide” was a recording that was hard to hear, but at least we weren’t running trying to keep up and the fresh air on the boat was nice. It was frustrating and felt like a waste of time and money. Would not recommend as we only got back to the starting location at 5PM, which left limited options for the rest of the day.

  It was the worst, James took off at a pace half the group couldn’t keep up with, many were pissed. Before end of tour my wife had enough and we asked how to get back to bus and he would not accommodate. We finally left on our own and got a taxi forfeiting boat cruise we paid for. Total chaotic nightmare. He said himself that was the fastest he had went to that many sites, wasn’t our goal to set a record, after 250 bucks we were looking for vacation enjoyment
