5.00A tour of Toledo is a MUST, especially since it is accessible in 30 minutes via high speed train from Madrid. But Toledo in June is not for the faint of heart. With its cobblestone streets, uphill climbs, and direct sun and extreme summer heat, you must take precautions by wearing appropriate clothing and footwear. Water is essential. Our experience with Noelia was extensive but just the right pace. Noelia provided us with historical, cultural, and religious context as we traversed the beautiful streets of Toledo. Her calm, friendly, and humorous nature was a breath of fresh air. In addition to the sites on the itinerary, Noelia gave us additional tips to continue our journey on our own.
