Your guide will meet you at the tourist office, to kick off your visit with a panoramic tour around Toledo, stopping at the Mirador del Valle viewpoint, before moving on to the guided walking tour. After the tour, and depending on the option you choose, you will be taken back to your hotel in Madrid, or if you prefer, you will have 3 hours of free time to have lunch, walk around on your own, or go shopping in Toledo, before returning to Madrid.
Our guided tour is a walk through the Christian, Jewish, and Muslim quarters, with the option to visit the interior of Toledo's main monuments explained by a licensed guide, such as the 13th-century Primate Cathedral of Spain, the Church of Santo Tomé, home to El Greco's masterpiece "The Burial of the Lord of Orgaz," or the synagogues, with tickets purchased directly on-site, no prior reservation needed. Monument entrance fees are not included.

We will start the guided tour with the panoramic view of Toledo from the viewpoint of El Valle, considered one of the most impressive views in the world, where you will have time to take pictures or just enjoy the unforgettable views.
Casco Historico de Toledo
Toledo is one of the oldest and best-preserved cities in Spain, with monuments, museums, and works of art spanning millennia, from Roman ruins to spectacular Gothic cathedrals, mosques, and synagogues, as well as narrow cobblestone streets and romantic plazas. 5.00This experience was very special. Our driver, Javier arrived early and was so professional and polite. He drove us safely and promptly to Toledo where we were greeted warmly by Carlos. We then went on a 3 hour tour of Toledo and learned so much. Carlos is so knowledgeable and speaks so enthusiastically about the sights and history of Toledo. He made the stories, history and experience come alive, my husband and were mesmerized, delighted and enchanted. Because of this experience we hope to return to Toledo soon and meet with Javier and Carlos again. We have met many different guides and drivers in different countries, but the team of Javier and Carlos has been our favorite. My only regret is that we should have booked a longer day!

5.00We had a wonderful experience on our Toledo tour. I traveled with my husband and mother, who because of her age has some mobility difficulties, and from the first moment Javier and Carlos were incredibly attentive and considerate. They made sure that the day was truly unforgettable, without putting any compunction in adapting the tour to our needs. The car picked us up and brought us comfortably to the different destinations, which made a big difference to my mother and allowed us to enjoy the tour with total peace of mind. Thanks to his professionalism, kindness and sensitivity, we were able to know Toledo in a comfortable, enriching and very special way. Definitely a highly recommended experience!

5.00Smooth booking process. Pablo answered all my questions, gave a detailed summary of what to expect and how to prepare for the outing. They accommodated our group of 15 (ages 4 months baby to 70 years old) by having a large minibus. Communication was clear, our driver was at the meeting spot on time. Once we reached Toledo, our guide, Irene, met us and was wonderful. It was a nice walking tour and we had a bit of time to explore and take photos. A great experience and would highly recommend this private tour for others!

5.00Our day started with a timely pick up from our hotel. The transfer was top level comfortable. Our driver Javier was great, knowledgeable and professional. He spent the entire day with us in Toledo, available to drive us to a restaurant of our choice for lunch and back to Madrid. In Toledo, we met with Javi. Javi, born and raised in Toledo, made us fall in love with his magical hometown. I feel like we discovered an absolute treasure. Our private tour was perfectly tailored to our family of 4. Javi kept everyone interested and engaged the entire time. We managed to accomplish everything on my list. Our tour was perfect thanks to Javier and Javi.

5.00We were visiting Madrid from the US and had been highly encouraged to spend a day in Madrid. It was one of the highlights of the trip--and one of the top 2-3 city tours I've done anywhere in the world. Our guide Javi not only showed us the usual arts and history highlights (and made the perfect lunch recommendation), but his deep knowledge of how religions and cultures have intersected in Toledo and Spain through the centuries, along with his exceptional level of empathy and use of personal anecdotes, connected us with the city and its people in an unusually emotional way. We would fully recommend this tour, and we'd specifically recommend Javi.

5.00This was such a great half-day tour from Madrid. I went with my 13-year old and sister and we all had a great time. The driver was professional and picked us up on time from our hotel. The car was comfortable and clean. Our local guide in Toledo, Javi, was awesome. He was born and raised in Toledo and shared not only historical facts about the city but also personal stories which made the visit more interesting and personable. Javi was friendly, very knowledgeable, easy-going, and professional. He accommodated us tailoring the tour to our preferences. So we got to enjoy a nice cup of coffee with cookies made by nuns, shopped at stores owned by local families, and took great pictures along the way. He highly recommended the tour of the Cathedral and it was so worth it. The Cathedral is just amazing with so much details in the architecture and art works throughout. Javi pointed out some really interesting facts that helped us to know the significance behind even smallest details. I would highly recommend this tour with Javi as your local tour guide and Javier as your driver.

5.00This was an amazing experience we would definitely recommend to friends or family visiting the area. The driver was punctual and the car very roomy and comfortable. It was nice way to both start and end our tour with Javier picking us up and dropping us off right at our hotel. Diego was a spectacular guide who was able to provide a tour that was engaging both for our two young children and us parents. He passed on to us the love for the city that only a local could have. He was able to connect with our children while at the same time covering thousands of years of local history (no complaints from a 4 or 8 year old during three hours of walking should allow you to give 10 stars!!) It made for a more relatable experience to see and hear him describe the hospital he was born in as we walked our way through the city’s ancient streets. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Diego and wished we could have him as a guide on all of our stops in Spain!

The pick up at the hotel in the latest model Mercedes sedan, to the handoff to our guide Javi in Toledo was handled perfectly and Javi was not only extremely knowledgeable but also very funny. The restaurant he recommended for lunch was marvelous and the return back to Madrid was again, seamless. I give Javi and Destino Toledo my highest recommendation
