  We booked two returns from SP to Paraty and were very impressed with the company’s communication (via WhatsApp) from the moment I reached out to them — including the day before and the day of our pick-ups. Super lovely ladies! The shuttle itself was well-maintained, clean and comfortable enough (it’s a small bus that seats about 15, though we were just 5 passengers going to Paraty and 6 coming back, which afforded us plenty of space to spread out). Grateful for a stop about halfway in each direction (a very gaudy restaurant/shop with clean restrooms and numerous food options). And our drivers were friendly (the first one didn’t speak any English, drove more carefully, and allowed passengers to stay at the rest stop for 30 minutes beyond the agreed departure time (which was a tad annoying) … the second driver spoke English, was excellent with providing us a detailed overview of what to expect from the drive, but was a little bit crazier around the hairpin bends!). My biggest concern with our transfers is timing. I understand there will always be things that get in the way of on-time departures and arrivals. However, we were picked up from GRU 1.5 hours past the scheduled pick-up time and didn’t arrive into Paraty until almost midnight (we were told it would be a 9pm arrival). Also a late pick-up in Paraty and drop-off in SP almost an hour behind what we were advised (we arrived at 8pm instead of the advertised 7pm). If the company had told us there could be such huge fluctuations in departure and arrival times, I would have felt more comfortable — but they seemed confident in the timing right from the start and I didn’t have reason to believe otherwise. It made for VERY long travel days in either direction.

  Our driver Josimar was amazing! He was so kind and polite. He took time to explain various parts of Brazil to us and was a very calm and safe driver despite the significant wavy roads and fog. He even took us to an amazing look out over the beaches so that we could take pictures.

  We hired private transportation and boat tours with paraty tours and our experience was great! I talked to Flavia and she gave me all the necessary support. We had an agenda full of things since we brought about 30 gringos to our wedding and the structure of paraty tours helped us to make the tours go out much better than expected. Thank you!

  Very good experience of shuttle to Sao Paulo. Driver arrived punctually and took a little under 5 hours to get us to their drop off point. A good experience and very fair price. Leaves every day at 8.30am

  Private transfer between Paraty and Sao Paulo airport at the top! Our driver took great care of us and was punctual and respectful of the speed limits. He tried to talk with us despite the language barrier. Thank you again, we arrived on time for our flight ✈️
