Mt Aso volcano is beautiful. Kumamoto Castle was nice from the outside, and you can see the effects of earthquake on the structures, but inside it was not preserved like a castle, it's just a museum inside. Make sure to walk on the caldera's grass land, the view is gorgeous. My guide Sun is kind, personable, gave a lot of good tips, and has very good multi language skills.

Molly was friendly and knowledgeable. I liked the variety of this tour. I’m glad that the volcano did not erupt. That would have been a bummer.
