The UNESCO-listed temple of Angkor Wat is Cambodia’s most visited attraction, and it’s even more magnificent under the glow of the rising sun. On this small-group tour, rise early to watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat, then take advantage of the cooler weather and fewer crowds to explore the surrounding temples. Next, visit Angkor Thom, admire the Gate to Bayon, and discover Bayon Temple. We’ll take a break for breakfast at a spot near the temple area before visiting the Buddhist temple of Ta Prohm (known from Tomb Raider), where massive tree roots grow through the structures. Finally, we’ll stop at Banteay Kdei Temple before returning to the hotel.

Communication needs to improve. The bus driver slept in, so everyone was stressed at pick up being 1h late. We still made it before sunrise. The problem was no one told us that they would be late, or that the tour was still running. I messaged & got no reply. I called & got no answer. Locals called for me & they'd answer, say it's coming, hang up & not answer when calling back from that number. They should have just sent a message to everyone saying the tour was still happening, but there was a delay due to staff late/change.

Loved the temples but not sure the sunrise was necessary. So very crowded! Highly recommend the small group—we all bonded so much in just 1 day although we were from different countries and different ages. Felt sorry for the large groups going through.

Great tour. We visited all the ”major” temples. Worked very well with pick-up and transport. Water were also provided. Sayon and the driver made the tour great. Would recommend for friends and family.

Wonderful tour! Our guide, Sion, was professional, informative, showed us all the best spots, and kept the tour very organized. We saw all the amazing sights and got lucky for a beautiful sunrise at Angkor Wat! We also received excellent service by getting a cold towel and cold water by the driver every time we got back in the bus after exploring the temples in the heat. That really made the tour, and was such a nice surprise since the tour was already a great value for all you get. Thank you for the lovely tour and 5 star hospitality!
