Here you will get the most complete tour to the magical Guatapé, where you will have the opportunity to see the impressive Piedra del Peñol. This tour lasts for a full day and we will start from the city of Medellín. This is the perfect opportunity for you to get to know the most beautiful landscapes in the country, climb 742 steps to reach the top of the Stone, or walk through the traditional streets of the town. You can also navigate Lake Guatapé on a boat, there you will see the country's celebrity vacation homes, and the ruins of Pablo Escobar's old house.

The hotel pick-up service can be requested up to 12 hours before the tour begins, meaning that if the reservation is made after 7:30 pm the day before, the pick-up service will not be valid and the participant must arrive until The meeting point which is located in the Laureles sector.
We only offer the pick-up service in the morning, the return is made directly to the initial meeting point, which is in the Laureles area.
If your hotel is not among the list of hotels available for pickup, this means that we do not have coverage in this area. In this case, a special request must be made which will be subject to prior approval.

What To Expect
Medellin
We will start the experience with a typical breakfast of the region, which includes: Arepa, egg, fruit, cheese, and drink (chocolate, coffee, or latte). Then start the bus route to Guatapé. The order of stops described below may vary from day to day depending on different factors such as: weather, traffic, number of people, etc.
Marinilla
One of our stops will be at a farm in the municipality of Marinilla, where you can interact with animals such as llamas, cows, horses, rabbits, ponies, and more. 70 min are transfer to this point

5.00The experience was nice and worth the money. You get picked up and dropped off. Food. And many stops. Only thing is the driver from the pick up almost left my friend and I and were standing right in front of the hotel he never asked us if we’re from the tour. We did not know if he was from the tour either because he was dressed in regular clothing. Also the food did not taste good or the drink. But other than that the tour was a 8/10.

5.00When we arrived at the meeting point, Sebastián was there to greet us and he was very nice and friendly it was such a great way to start the day! Our tour with Guatape Tours was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We enjoyed every single stop along the way each one was beautiful and so well organized. Our host, Valentina, was super amazing! She communicated with us clearly, made sure we were comfortable, and really made us feel welcome throughout the day. Her warm and friendly personality made the experience even more memorable. We would definitely recommend Guatape Tours to anyone and everyone from our islands, St. Maarten and Aruba — it’s an experience you don’t want to miss!

5.00From the beginning Sebastian (Organiser) and Ale (Guide) were so amazing! We had only just arrived in Medellin the previous night and were collected and taken to a restaurant in Laureles first thing in the morning. There we were greeted by Sebastian. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met, prior to the day he had messaged and given a comprehensive explanation of the tour and offered support throughout. You are sat down to a lovely Colombian breakfast and I really enjoyed the eggs. It’s unlimited if you like and you can ask for more of anything. Then you’re off to one of 5 stops throughout the day. After the main part of Guatapé you are taken to a nice spot for lunch and i recommend the traditional dish but there are several options , veg included. Thank you also to Alé for being an awesome tour guide ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR WITH SEBASTIAN AND ALÉ !
