Guide tip
Step back in time and indulge in nostalgic treats at this charming candy shop, where the scent of homemade fudge and caramel fills the air. With over 1,500 varieties of sweets, you’ll find everything from Civil War-era candies to modern confections. Don’t miss their signature "Battlefield Brittle", a crunchy, nutty delight inspired by Gettysburg’s storied past.
This Civil War-themed eatery serves up history on a plate, with burgers named after Union and Confederate generals. Their award-winning "Chamberlain Burger", topped with smoked bacon and cheddar, is a local favorite. Pair it with a craft beer while debating Gettysburg’s greatest battles beneath walls adorned with historic memorabilia.

We had a fun time learning some history of Gettysburg and getting a chance to stop into several restaurants and try some delicious food! Silver was our guide and was very engaging and fun to spend a few hours with!

Spent a great couple hours with Hannah working our way through some of the local fare in Gettysburg. Some places were closed on Monday and Tuesday, but Hannah had a full list of places to visit to fill those gaps (and offered some recommendations for later in the week). She has lots of history and stories about the area that make the time fly by!

We had our tour with Kira. LOVED her! She was so knowledgeable and personable! She answered all of our questions and really engaged with us. It felt like hanging out with a friend instead of a tour! She taught us a lot about Gettysburg and the area! Highly recommend getting a tour with her!

Well it started out well but then our guide got side tracked to ghost tours. And told us all about her other tour. Not as much history as we would have liked
