  After a rocky start to the tour getting and finding the meeting point, Reza, the guide conducted a brilliant tour. He has so much knowledge of history and religion and shared this with all of us in English and Russian. Really enjoyed the sites, especially the fire temple. I would have been really sad if I missed the tour. Highly recommend.

  Really good trip Riyad has been just wonderful starting from coordinating with the driver to planning each stops giving us ample of time to explore the place and going into details of every location visited. Will highly recommend.

• Tour is worth doing Privately, not in a minibus.

  The bus was almost an hour late to pick us up. It was a minibus which was cramped and had very little leg room. The air conditioning in the bus did not work in the very hot conditions. There was no microphone and the guide couldn’t be heard in the back rows with the people’s and road noise. Very little information was given before we stopped for an attraction and even then it was bare bones. Not a good experience.

  Overall, the trip was fantastic. From the tour guide to the various sights we got to see, it was awesome. There were a few minor things that made it an inconvenience for the whole trip but most were out of anyone’s controls. Our guide did a great job to roll with the punches and tried his best to ensure he gave us all the best tour as possible. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Azerbaijan and able to tell us a lot about what we were looking at. If you are trying to hit all of the major landmarks, this was a great tour to get them all in throughout the day. The only negative to this trip was not having time to relax and enjoy some of the sights due to the F1 racing coming to Baku and making traffic a nightmare.
