Very well informed guide. Good English. The walking trip was very well planned as we started high and ended low, so almost no climbing. At the end you had the choice of staying on the main street of the old town, or walk back with the guide up to the new town.

Patricia was an excellent informative guide who showed us all over Matera. We were lucky to have her to ourselves. She spoke perfect English and answered our many questions about life in Matera, past and present. It was very historical and interesting. How amazing to visit the third oldest inhabited city in the world! We were very glad to take his guided tour and learn so much!

Our guide, Lorenza, was excellent. We were only a group of 4 which made for a very engaged tour. Being a sunny warm day (even in late October) really added to the experience. Obviously 2 hours is only enough to scratch the surface of this astonishing place that has been inhabited for millennia. But you could not get a better introduction than Lorenza’s professional and warm guidance. She was excellent. Highly recommend Lorenza and Passi nei sassi.

A beautiful experience that is really rewarding. The guide told us about the origin and life in the caves so we could really imagine.. Without her explanation, we would have missed a lot of valuable information.
