Khor Virap
Many people know that Armenia is the first Christian country in the world. It was officially accepted in 301 when Grigor was released from the capital's prison, which was here before. He was imprisoned here for 13 years for his Christian faith. Being the last hope of the sick king, he cured him, after which the king accepted Christianity as the state religion. At the same time, the best view of Mount Ararat opens from here. Being very close to Ararat gives you the opportunity to see the entire structure of the mountain and admire its beauty.
Noravank Monastery
Medieval Armenian taste and architectural talent were interblended in Noravank, founded in the 9th century, this monastery developed in the 13th and 14th centuries. Surrounded by high red-coloured mountains and built from stones taken from those rocks, Noravank harmoniously complements the local landscape, remaining unique in its kind.

We had a wonderful journey to Ararat and Vayots Dzor provinces today. Hasmik is a perfect guide: knowledgeable, passionate, and tolerant. She speaks fluent English and Russian. We asked countless questions about Armenian history, life, politics, culture, sport, and always got responses in a professional yet emotional way. Khor Virap inspired a historic aura. Noravank is a spiritual, cultural plus beautiful landscape place. Jermuk is a world-class collection of natural phenomena. Areni talks about old and new winemaking tradition. Our driver Manvel made the long way smoother. It was a great start of our journey to Armenia. We want more trips with One Way Tours now.

Lots of great stops on this tour. It wasnt too hectic and a good mix of guided time and free time. Guide Marie was excellent- managing English and Russian groups seamlessly. She provided just the right amount of narration and addressed questions well. Nitpick- time at fountain and winery couldve been shortened to get back to town sooner.

The tour was amazing! Our tour partners Karmela and Edgar were amazing to travel with, they were patient and ensured everyone had a good time. The tour was structured well, with enough time to guided tour and enough alone time for pictures. The activities too were well spread out so as to not make one section filled with too many activities and other dull. It was all well planned, and exceptionally punctual.

Second time traveling with OneWay Tour and I highly recommend! Very well-organized team, strict with punctuality so you head off and arrive on time. For both times, we were guided by Hasmik and I'd like to say a huge thank you to her. She's very knowledgeable on the Armenian history and draws parallels with the current state of the country. She also talked a lot about Artsakh and I hope the English-language tours also offer such a deep insight into the past and current history of the Armenian nation. Apart from being a great guide she's also very fun:) many thanks to our driver Hakob as well! Definitely coming back for another tour!!!

We had a great day on this trip, and really enjoyed seeing some beautiful places in Armenia. Hasmik was a brilliant guide, and her storytelling and explanations (in perfect English) really brought the visits to life. Our driver Jacob was also great. Thank you both!

We happened to come across the tour by chance and we didn't regret it for a second. We learned a lot of interesting things about the sites and saw a lot of beauty. Our tour guide Armine was born to be a guide and took care of our mood. The driver Misha was an added bonus to the trip. I recommend this couple to see what you want. My only recommendation is to change the place for lunch, although it is not mandatory.
