Had a fabulous day with Ike from Austin Detours. We visited 3 unique wineries, and were welcomed warmly at each. Ike was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He had a great rapport with the hosts at each vineyard. This was a different view of Texas than I expected...never imagined so many vineyard & wineries! Wine was good and pours were generous. The transport was very comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We had such an amazing time on this wine tour! It was engaging, informative, and so much fun from start to finish. The winery stops were all fantastic, each offering something unique and delicious. Our tour guide was absolutely the best — knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Hands down, the best wine tour we’ve ever taken! Highly recommend! The added touch of choosing songs to listen to in the van was super fun as well.

Travelers should know that the wines available on this excursion are 90% dry, so if you like sweeter wines like my guest and me, you will be very disappointed about the wine tasting at the 3 locations. The 1st stop was the only one with a sweet wine. My regret was that I did not purchase a bottle. I thought the sweet wine selections would get better as the your continued. That did not happen.

A throughly well organised wine tour including two vineyard producers and a third final stop at a lively out of town location with many different drink specialists located including wines, beers, whiskey and food offerings. Our tour guide David was superb. So friendly and funny. He kept us entertained throughout and kept everything running smoothly. If you’re looking to experience a little of the countryside out of the city for and afternoon and enjoy locally produced wines with a charming host, I’d highly recommend this tour.

Everything was great. Our guide, Luke, was knowledgeable and fun. We were four couples and two friends, and we enjoyed our time together. The wineries were excellent, with beautiful views of wine country.
