Awaken the surfer within you during this introductory half day surfing experience. Even if it's your first time around a board, you'll be safely shown up to your first wave before you’ve even had time to worry about falling off. We have lots of amazing surfing locations at our finger tips and we'll find you the best waves the Byron-Ballina region has to offer.

From absolute beginners to anyone looking for a refresher course, these lessons include safety information about the beach and important surf and safety rules covering all the basics from the warm-up, to paddling, catching waves and standing.

In our small group surf sessions (maximum 7 surfers per Instructor), we offer tailored guidance to enhance your surfing skills, boost confidence, and deepen your understanding of the sport. Alongside refining your technique, you'll also embark on a journey of learning, adventure, and cultural immersion as we explore diverse destinations together.

This fun-fueled 4-hour beginner's surfing adventure let's you experience the thrill of catching your first wave or honing your existing skills. Surf some of the best waves the region has on offer and enjoy a touring experience you won't forget! We we meet in the centre of Byron Bay and then go on adventure, exploring the nearby beaches and surrounding areas. Come let our dedicated and local Instructors/guides show you the best the Byron region has to offer! Surf in small groups (maximum 7 surfers per Instructor) the personalized attention you'll receive will build your knowledge and confidence as you cultivate your surf technique plus you will enjoy a unique blend of education, adventure and cultural awareness of the areas we explore together in this half day tour.

Let’s go surfing got me pitted 5 times on one single wave, Dylan made me realize how important it is to shred the gnar. Luke is very funny. I recommend it highly if you wanna work on your technique and barrel time yewwww #outthere

Antoine and Ava were the best! The instructors explained everything clearly—from safety to technique—and gave helpful tips throughout the session. They were enthusiastic, encouraging, knowledgeable and fun. I highly recommend this team!

Best experience ever, I came with. Group and the boys were so supportive, encouraging and professional. All of them are experts and a good laugh too, I’d never considered surfing before and now I’m so glad I did! Shout out to Ozzy, fred Luke! 🤘🏼

Ava was our instructor for the day, and she was a very happy and friendly person. Well knowledged in the sport and gave very good constructive feedback. We were given all the gear and were well looked after!
