From Wat Pha Lat, go to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, one of northern Thailand’s most sacred temples. Climb 306 steps to be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding area and the temple itself.

Be impressed by the preservation of the 14th-century gold pagoda which enshrines a relic, Buddha’s shoulder bone. After spending time on the temple grounds, hop back in your vehicle to be driven back to Chiang Mai.

I don't know why this tour doesn't have more reviews but we had a fantastic tour guide (forgot his name, sorry!) who used to be a monk for many years and is now a very knowledgeable tour guide for Doi Suthep and Wat Pha Lat. He was very enthusiastic and engaging and showed us all the best lookout spots. The tour was relaxed and we had plenty of time to explore. I enjoyed the tour - thank you for a great experience!

We did this half-day excursion on August 10. Perfect organization, as described. Our guide, Mui, was great. Very nice and prepared, she explained a lot of things and accompanied us to these two fabulous sites! Absolutely not to be missed. Highly recommended!

Good half day trip to the Must See temples of chiang mai. Also suitable for boys (we brought 4) given the time enough contained for the two visits. MUI is overeducated, discreet and still very informative. Very polite and passionate about her work. Recommended!
