Amazing day starting with a tour of the food market for tastings and collection of some fresh produce for the class. The cooking school is superbly clean and the day was organised so slickly. We cooked and ate 10 different dishes but it was well paced out. Best cooking class I have been to.

What an amazing experience! We walked the market, learned so much about ingredients, while we shopped for our meals, we even got samples and when we arrived at the school, it was beautifully setup, the teacher walked us through every step and we cooked 11 meals. We got a cook book at end and even got a seasoning pack with dried ingredients such a memorial experience and I highly recommend.

A great experience! The market tour was a great start to the day. The class was extensive, as you learn a lot of local dishes. They broke down the cooking techniques and made it easy to do. I wish I would have skipped breakfast...so much food!

This was an excellent course that started early in the morning with a visit to a produce market. The chef/owner showed and described to us some of the local fruits and vegetables which we also tasted. We proceeded to the cooking school that was walking distance from the market. The chef was well spoken in English, highly organized and provided clear instructions. We each had our own station and together and individually, we prepared and ate 11 different dishes! We had a good group, small and global. A cookbook was shared with recipes of all the dishes, both in hard copy and digital formats. It was a fun event I highly recommend.

Such a fun experience! The Thai and Akha Cooking Class was one of the highlights of our time in Chiang Mai. Our instructor, Aon, was funny, easygoing, and did an excellent job explaining everything while keeping the class moving and fun. The food was amazing (and there was a lot of it), and we loved learning about Akha and northern Thai cooking along the way. Nothing felt touristy. It was just great food, great instruction, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re in Chiang Mai!
